Review 1 for Sleep Science 9" Natural Latex King Mattress with Foundation
Date:January 31, 2014
Not for people with pain issues, not good value
Pros: it didn't have a bad latex smell
Model Number: Sleep Science 9" latex
"I bought this mattress in August 2012. I have given it a more than generous break-in period. It has never been comfortable but my husband likes it so I kept it. Within the past several weeks it has caused me daily back aches. I don't know if it's the colder weather or the mattress is failing but it's time to return it to Costco. I expected much more from a mattress that costs this month."

Lasts for 20 years?
Pros: few short hours of strong latex smell then nothing
Cons: not for side sleepers
Model Number: Sleep Science 9" Natural Latex King Mattress with Foundation
"I'm a side sleeper. I did my homework speaking with one of the owners at the manufacturer's business in Cali - direct questions posed about impact on cotton and latex for side sleepers.
The owner ASSURED me this would not breakdown before the 20 year life expectancy had come and gone.
Two short months later, my back is killing me!!! Wouldn't you know it - a sag has developed at the same location of the bed where my hip rests...SURPRISE!!!
Recently placed a call to same owner who was reportedly out of town that day. I called back again (different employee than first call) - I went thru the explanation and issue and learned this person had exact same bed, also a side sleeper, and exact same problem developed within a few months!
Employee advised they opted for Sleep Science's Black Diamond bed and it is working out just fine/has held up for lengthy time now.
It's been two weeks and still no response from owner.
Thank God for Costco return policy - I'm returning bed to Costco"

Review 3 for Sleep Science 9" Natural Latex King Mattress with Foundation
Date:June 27, 2013
Pros: firm but comfy, a "green" matress.
"We ordered the bed despite no reviews and were quite nervous but then figured we had nothing to loose with Costco's return policy. The bed arrived in 3 weeks and did have a smell but that was excepted. By the time we went to bed at night the smell was pretty much all gone. The bed is firm. I am struggling not having the cushy feeling but my husband loves it. He no longer has back pain and I no longer have pressure point issues which is amazing. I did have issues with my arms falling asleep for a week but I read that it can be normal when adjusting to firm beds. We have had the bed for 2 weeks now and so far we are super happy."
