Under no circumstances should you buy this...
Pros: none
Cons: there are too many to list but here's a few:, poorly made, cheap, difficult to put together due to the poor quality, of materials and finishing, ugly
Model Number: Sawyer Brown Arts and Craft Table - Item# 794764
"I wish someone else had written a review before I purchased this item. This is the worse piece of flat-packed furniture I have ever had to assemble in 20 years of putting together furniture. And that is by far. I can honestly say I have nothing positive to say about this product. It was poor quality press board, the finishing was terrible, the hardware to put it together was either too small or too large... or the hole for said hardware was too small or two large.
This product probably consists of $20 worth of pressboard, and $5 worth of screws. The finishing is poor, none of the surfaces line up to be flush. Ughh it is terrible. The finished product is rickety, ugly and a number of other negative descriptions that I don't have time to list."

Had problems, but the company fixed them.
Pros: great design, sturdy, significant storage and work space, good customer service
Cons: a few dings in the wood, one board miss drilled
"The first two reviews are correct, but I knew that when I bought this desk. Why did I buy it? Because I loved the design for my two kids to have a place to work and share a computer. I couldn't find one anywhere else close to this. The boards were a little dinged up, but nothing major (it was for my kids anyway). And yes, one of the main boards was not drilled correctly. I redrilled it and it was fine. However, I did contact Costco and the company fedex'd me a new board the next day. In the end, I am happy; it is a good desk and exactly what I wanted. It wasn't perfect, so only 4 stars."

Save your time...
"Item arrived in 2 boxes. Contents of 1 box was OK, the other was not packaged well and arrived quite damaged. The quality wasn't what I expected either. Save your time and buy something else."

Worse and no way to return it!!
"I spent 6 hours to assemble the desk. It was very complicate and parts are very dusted. After I screwed and hammering all the parts till the last part....DARNEST thing....the design was totally missed measure the length of the part #42 and holes are missed each other by 1.5cm. I have to re-drill 4 holes in order to match the other part., and the two iron legs are blocking me from installing the #42. other parts are broke into pieces here and there. And I can not un-assemble it to return this lousy desk (I had took 6 hours to put them together, and may be another 12 hours to take them apart...) Huhhhhhh, forget it!!"

Thank you for your comments regarding the Sawyer Brown Desk. We sincerely apologize that you had an issue assembling the desk. Because of your comments we investigated the source of the problem and found in fact that there was two areas that needed correction in the drilling pattern. Since then all stock has been corrected to ensure that future members can order the perfect desk to fit their needs. Again, thank you for your feedback regarding the Sawyer Desk.
