Worst Purchase Ever

Cons: cheaply made, missing parts
" This has been my worst purchase ever! At least for my dog here... I was all ready to put together and it was missing a major part/pole. I had to call Costco, who had to call the manufacturer. I then received a call back from the manufacturer a few days later apologizing and sending me the correct part. They were very polite and helpful; however, it was their mistake.
Then, halfway through the second time putting this together I found that 2 of the other parts were the wrong size, so I had to call again and go through this process. This time I was pretty frustrated as it took over 3 weeks for me to finish this.
The fencing was not put together well, and the bottom was not "closed looped" so I had to manually fix the bottom of the fencing (it's not supposed to come like this, according to the manufacturer).
Now that it's complete, it's very cheap and the roof is a joke; I wish I purchased the higher end model at Costco, it looks much more stable and seems to be higher quality...
Don't make the mistake of purchasing this kennel... "

Good basic kennel

Pros: good value, bonus shade cloth
Cons: difficult to assemble, gate latch not as secure as it could be
" Have used his kennel for a few months now, and it has held up well and still looks good.
It was VERY difficult to assemble, and definitely took more than one person and a lot of creative language to put together. But I still consider it a good value, and a lot of kennel for the money.
One thing that has cropped up is the latch on the gate is shallow enough that my dog has learned to "pop" the latch with his nose. I had to make a chain and snap mechanism to keep the gate closed. Also the gate hinges are getting stiff and "stuck", and require some WD-40 every so often to work properly.
But the chain link has held up well and the shade cloth also still looks fairly new (very little fading, and I'll take it off and store it inside for the winter to further protect it). My dog is not in the kennel full time, so it's not a huge consideration for me that the shade cloth doesn't block rain, just sun.
The assembled kennel is pretty easy to move to different parts of the yard. This has allowed me to keep the dog from wearing down just one area in the grass. This might not be a huge consideration if your kennel is permanently situated. But I like being able to move it by myself when needed.
It's also fair to note that the shade cloth is a nice bonus. If you had to go out and buy one separately, you'd be surprised how expensive it is! "

Great Value & Good Construction

Pros: good quality
Cons: 2 people for easy set up
" Ditto to all the other reviewers. It is a great value for the kennel. The only con is that it does take 2 people to set it up easily. Also, do be sure to set it up near where you want it to be. It would be nice if the roof kept out the rain too but at least it provides protection from the sun. "

Good investement for a decent price

Pros: easy assembly, decent price for its size
Cons: no roofing to prevent rain from coming in.
" Overall this is a great product and I would highly recommend. Assembly was a breeze as long as there is a guy handy. Cage is really durable and there are no sign of rust. Great price for its size. Would receive 5 stars if there was a proper roofing to prevent rain from coming in as it just comes with a shade which is still helpful to keep my puppy cool. "

better then expected

Pros: made in usa, clear instructions, 1-person assembly (except fencing), gate pre-assembled, arrived promptly & in good condition, no missing or damaged pieces, complete kit including shade tie-towns & anchors, easy to assemble (even for me!), no really...made in usa!
Cons: tension rods seem too short, need 2-people to assemble fencing
Model Number: 394388
" Complete high quality kit requiring only one person to assemble, except for fencing, which my lovely wife was able to assist me with.
Be sure to assemble it close to where you intend to put it, because it weighs almost 100-pounds.
May be suited best for small to medium dogs, however I use mine for a chicken run, so it should keep the dogs out! ;)
Buy it, you won't regret it!

Impossible to set up

" Just got this and turns out the main fence that you see in the picture was short about a foot and half... after a hour of labor by 2 people we spent another hour unassembling it. Horrible, not even a number to call the company! "

good value, but lots of work

Pros: good quality for the money
Cons: labor intensive
" Rec'd item in good condition. 9 of 10 rating for quality.
Took several hours to put together and does take two people for the chain link portion. Hard to use gloves, but your fingers get sore securing the fence with wires. Check the top and bottom as you go before stretching just to make sure each loop is connected securely before you start putting tension on the links.
