Irresponsible Product
Pros: none
Cons: wastes energy, creates glare, casts shadows, upsets neighbors, no real security
"This may be only 65 watts, but the fixture's archaic barn-light design will scatter much of its light skyward and sideways where it can provide no security but will upset your neighbors and cast crime-friendly shadows - a glaring waste of energy from dusk to dawn. Instead, buy a good motion detector-activated light with a full-cutoff fixture that points all its light downward where light might do some good."

Burns Out Fast
"I've purchased these for my home, and talked my sister an apartment manager into purchasing them for her complex. In the cold weather, these lights will begin to come on, and simply burn out. Good thing is Costco takes returns with few questions."

Frustrating Purchase
Pros: casts tons of light the dusk to dawn works great
Cons: light does not last for me at least
"I like the light, but it has failed twice and one I installed at a friends house has failed. The electronic balast for the light fails. I like the light, but 3 of them now have not even come close to making it 5 years as the warranty states.
The company replaced the light, but they should just charge more and use better components. You get what you pay for is true in this case."
