The Earrings are Perfect!
Pros: costco quality; appraisal certificate included, prong set for maximum diamond exposure, light weight keeps ear piercing from stretching

"The five diamonds easily capture the light and they sparkle plenty to capture the attention of others. Friends interrupt conversations to comment about their beauty. The narrow hoop size fits around the ear lobe with a small over-drop; there is 3/8 " from post to the inner ring. The 5 diamond spread is a full 5/8" providing just the right amount of diamonds to wear to work, shopping, or dressed up for the evening. I have worn the earrings for one year. The clasp is secure. This was not an impulse purchase; I researched diamond hoops for a year and found these to be the best value and quality. I find that the perfect day to wear them is when I need that extra sparkle to make myself feel better...you know...a workday morning or when I'm in jeans and a t-shirt going shopping with some girlfriends or out to meet some other moms. And yes, they are perfect for a dinner date too! Remember to clean the earrings and your other investment jewelry often for sparkle."

Too bad the clasp didn't work

"The earrings were exactly what I expected with right size and enough sparkles and fires while suitable for everyday wear. Unfortunately the clasp on one of the earrings was loose so the mechanism wouldn't lock securely. I ended up returning them back to the store. The product page from Costco.com was removed while I intended to order another pair with working clasps, so I took that pair was the last ones. Strangely enough, the webpage popped again few days after I returned the earrings and I worried those could be the same pair I returned though I did tell the store what's wrong. Not dare to order same item from the web now."

Lost one earing within one week of purchase!

"While the diamonds are fabulous to say the least the closing mechanism is very poor quality. One earring fell and was lost while I was out shopping, I'm guessing in a fitting room :( And was within one week of my purchase! I'm so disappointed...... I spent those hard earned thousand dollars with a lot of trust in Costco quality.... can't believe none of the other reviewers have had this problem."

We have a WINNER!!!

"Had purchased another pair of diamond hoops from Costco.com and when they arrived, they were beautiful (the inside/out .97ctw WG hoops), but just not the look I was going for. As soon as I arrived home from the store where I returned them, I got back online and ordered these earrings, they arrived two days later and are STUNNING!!! If you're on the fence, go for it - you definately won't be disappointed. Looking forward, the presence is all diamond, and the stones are up to the usual quality you expect when buying diamonds from Costco, whether online or in the store."

Beautiful Earings but lock is not tight enough

"This earrings is beautiful. I loved it and can't stop wearing it. The diamond's is big enough and it will sparkle on your ears. But one earring's lock is not tight enough and I'm afraid that it will come off and loose them. I called costco to exchange it and I hope the new pair I will get won't give me problem."

Overall very satisfied
"My husband gave the earrings to me for an anniversary gift 3 years ago. At first I had the same problem that a few people mentioned; one earring opened too easily and the earring would fall out. I just tweaked the post slightly (I've had a similar but smaller pair for many years, so I learned this trick a while back.) They close solidly now and never fall out.
Very nice sparkle. I wear these earrings every day, only taking them out to shower."

Beautiful diamonds in a sad cheap setting

"I was so happy when I opened the box. The diamonds in these earrings are really big and flashy. Unfortunately when I looked at the earrings closer, I notice that one had a loose hinge. The metal is pretty soft and bendable. Even though a good deal, there is no way I would spend this much on a pair of flimsy earring. These went right back to Costco."

Dazzling!
"I've been looking at these earrings for quite some time, and I was very happy to receive them from my husband for my birthday. They are simple and beautiful. You can wear them with anything: casual and formal wear. Don't expect the earrings to be large (the pictures may lead one to thinking that), they are just a perfect size for every day wear. I was worried about them not locking (as quite a few previous reviewers mentioned they had problems with the lock), but mine seem to lock just fine. I am hoping the lock won't be a problem in the future."

Doesn't lock
"I agree with all the reviews, this earrings are very pretty. I was looking for something like that for a long time. The diamonds big, they will sparkle on your ears. I bought it to wear every day but I can not wear it at all because they always fall down from my ears, can't put my hair down the lock is not safe, I have to always touch the earrings to make sure it is still on my ears. Do not buy it because you gonna end up returning them or gonna lose at least one of them."
