As Described, Sturdy and Functional

"The cabinet arrived in perfect condition and took minutes to set up - just needed a screwdriver for the wheels. Everything works and works well - drawers slide nicely... converts to legal files easily - locks... and the cabinet rolls (even though it doesn't look like it), so it's perfect for someone who may want to move it later."

Cons: small casters: would like to see larger ones.
"The quickest delivery by Costco never gets old, and only amazes me more each time it shows up.
Easy setup, decent accessories (the pen holder tray seems a bit odd for a file cabinet); but great product overall."

Another Reason to Love Costco
Pros: sturdy well made, quick delivery, minimal assembly
"After looking at file cabinets all over the internet, I decided to go with this one from Costco (why do I waste time with other companies?!). I ordered it YESTERDAY afternoon and it arrived at my door THIS MORNING. I said to the driver, "How did they know last week that I was going to order this cabinet yesterday?" He chuckled. The driver carefully placed it inside my house.
It was easily unpackaged (so grateful it came assembled!) and I set about putting the casters on. Having read the earlier reviews, I was a little worried but was relieved to find out I needed nothing more than a standard phillips head screwdriver and a little muscle. Total assembly time: 10 minutes.
It's sturdy black metal, well built, and rolls nicely with the casters. I love that one key locks the whole thing up. I would highly recommend this file cabinet- it's a better product at a price you can't beat anywhere. And great customer service with Costco...as always!"

Nice Cabinet
Cons: slightly shallower than typical cabinet
"Purchased this filing cabinet for my home office. Had to install the casters, but that wasn't difficult. It's nice looking (for a file cabinet) and the wife likes it way better than the typical putty color metal cabinet. Drawers slide easily. It's a little shallower than the typical file cabinet, but all in all, I'm very pleased."

"I have been looking specifically for a file cabinet with a file drawer and smaller drawers that all lock. This one fit the bill exactly. I am very impressed by the high quality for such a reasonable price. It is really heavy and solid. The drawers open and close smoothly and they all lock. It has a nice finish too. All in all I am very happy with my purchase."

A Good Buy
"The looks and functionality of this storage unit are very acceptable. Drawer action is better than I've seen in a lot more expensive units. A cautionary note about the packing: My husband and I thought it was quite heavy as we lugged it up the stairs. At the top of the stairs we discovered a concrete block hiding in the bottom drawer (so the unit won't knock over during shipping?) Ugh!"

Excellent Mobile Storage Cabinet

"Poor assembly instructions, but very easy to figure out how to assemble. You must have the proper screwdriver to attach casters or you will strip the screwhead. File cabinet is very well built. I am very satisfied. The price was the best I could find anywhere."

A Strong and good looking storage unit
Pros: rugged well built unit, well packaged and shipped with care, smooth (and quiet) operating drawers, attactive color and finish
Cons: require proper screwdriver for wheel assembly, caster screws are difficult to screw in
"I spent considerable time researching before buying this pedestal. There isn't much info on the internet for this type with the two small drawers and large file drawer. Costco have the best price with shipping and you have peace of mind with the return policy. I bought two of them. The packaging was extremely well done so they arrived with no scratches or damage.
The caster screws appear to be self-tapping so you have to have the right screw driver because it is very hard to screw them in. The wrong size screwdriver will strip the screw. Once I screwed the casters (wheels) on, the entire unit feel like one solid, rugged file cabinet. Even fully loaded with a small plastic set of loaded drawers on top, this cabinet rolls easily.
I expect that this will last a good long time. Much better than what I have seen in the local office supply store chains."

incomplete with TERRIBLE directions
"Alas. the cabinet itself seems like a fine file cabinet but it came with NO screws to attach the casters. After 2 trips to the hardware store no luck... I cannot get them off now and they wobble. Then when I removed a drawer one of the supports came out as well and I cannot figure out how to get it back in... thus the lack of directions. So it is going back."
