Very poor product
Cons: would not reccomend to anyone
"The file cabinet was delivered and appeared to be in good condition. The box was not damaged. When the cabinet was unpacked the slid for the drawer was broken, it had been sent from the factory that way. I returned it for a full refund."

Decent quality, great price
"Very pleased with the fit and finish on these reasonably priced cabinets. Heavier weight steel than cheap filing cabinets and smooth drawer slides.
Wish the cabinet came in a legal width!
Very quick shipping from Costco.com."

Good Home Office File Cabinet
Pros: quality construction, attractive, price
Cons: heavy nearly 80 lbs.

"The file cabinet arrived quickly and undamaged. It was easily assembled. Several of the reviews mentioned the screws for the casters would not go in all the way. I found that after the screws were partially in there was a lot of resistance but I used a power screwdriver and that solved the problem. The unit is attractive and the drawers slide easily."

Good, but not perfect
Pros: economical, easy to move around
Cons: drawers don't roll easily
"This cabinet fulfills its purpose -- light duty, non-commercial storage. The casters work well. However, the drawers don't pull out easily, and one drawer did not seat properly when closed."

"Nice looking and plenty of room for files. Easy to install casters on bottom. The first 2 cabinets delivered to us were dented pretty bad. We accepted the 3rd one even though it had a small dent in it. Tired of opening boxes and seeing dents. It seems to be a packing problem. The top of box just lifts off. Customer Service was great every time I called."

exactly what I needed

"Came overnight well packed. Re the screws for casters - I had expected for them to screw all the way. Therefore, thought it was defective. However, the screws only go in part way, but do stay.
Once I recognized that situation, it was super easy."

File is great, could NOT get the screws in

"The file cabinet is great. However, I had to put the wheels on, and there was NO WAY I could get the screws to go into the cabinet, and I tried everything. I finally drilled the holes to match some other screws for metal that I had on hand. And all of this by a 74 year old female."

Arrived dented
Pros: good product for the price
Cons: shipping damage due to poor packaging
"I really wanted this file cabinet, and still do. I ordered two. Both arrived with dings. I returned one to Costco, and thought I could live with the other one. The bottom drawer, however, was a bit out of kilter (perhaps from shipping), so I returned it also. The return process at Costco was easy, but loading the cabinets (ugh!) into my vehicle and driving there was not. Too bad these file cabinets are not packaged better-- they are in cardboard boxes, but with styrofoam only at the corners, so dings are inevitable. The casters are inside the cabinets and must be screwed into place, but had fallen under the bottom drawer (during shipping?) and were extremely difficult to get out of the cabinet. Too bad about the shipping, because otherwise I would have been happy with this product. I would like to re-order, but don't want to risk going through the return process again."
