Best Chicken on the Planet!

"This is the most wonderful chicken you will ever taste! I have tried every organic, free-range chicken on the market and they all taste the same. This chicken tastes the closest to home-raised and home-butchered as you will ever get. They are as clean as a whistle inside, and no disgusting bags of guts. I have ordered twice now and it's been over 100 degrees for both shipments. The chickens have arrived in amazingly cool condition! My second shipment was delayed by UPS and I didn't receive until 5:00 p.m. and they were in fine shape!"

Had to return

Pros: delicious
Cons: smaller than 3 lbs (2 lbs 2oz and 2 lbs 14oz)
"This was my second order and I was very disappointed. One chicken was definitely smaller than I recieved the first time , but the second was the size of the cornish hen. It just looked wrong. I wanted to know how much it weights, so I went and bought kitchen scale . One chicken was 2 lbs14 oz. and other 2 lbs 2 oz.(!!!). If I pay for min. 3 lbs it has to be 3 lbs, not 2. I called customer service and they told me to bring it to the local Cosco warehouse as soon as I can.I really enjoyed the chicken from the first order. It was the tastiest chicken. I was planning to buy it every month, but I didn't enjoyed 17 miles trip (one way) with the todler to return it plus paying tolls."

I am happy I purchsed this chicken

"I am very happy I purchased this. I am equally fond the chicken is kosher and organic. I feel more confident that what is going into my body is healthy, and without genetically modified organisms, unnatural feed, or harmful hormones. The chicken arrived very nicely packaged and still frozen! I have not ever baked a chicken before. This chicken was very flavorful and juicy. I liked the way it turned out. Because this product is kosher (had the kosher tag on the wing of the chicken) and certified organic (very important), I will purchase again. I felt good when I ate this. Good product. Thanks Costco. :)"

Free range chickens

Pros: good fresh chickens, kosher certified
Cons: different taste, not for cats
Model Number: cluck cluck!
"Well, this has been an interesting experience! Personally I like the free range idea although the taste takes a little getting used to. Kind of reminds me of duck or some wilder creature. Having two Siamese cats who are my "tasters" I consider an asset. Problem is they would rather have the old store bought chickens with all the hormones than the good free range variety. So it's more chicken for me!
All in all I liked the taste but it took some getting used to the difference.
