Exceeded my expectations Greatly!

"Did much more research on this than expected due to the price, weight and having it shipped to a second home in Arkansas.
It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had on a large weighty item (1,211 LBS) that had to be shipped across the country. I am a real believer in Costco , their quality, their attention to detail and their return policies.
This item was exactly on time being delivered to Greenbrier Ar.,the delivery driver called and was on time, and absolutely refused to not help me get it into my shop behind the house on his hand pallett mover, helped open it and inspect,it, perfect condition. What a great driver, and another reason Costco will always be in my shopping needs. Thanks Costco!"

Best "Bang for the Buck"
Pros: durable great quality large capacity
"This is a great box for the home garage. It is well constructed and can handle the weight. I spent alot of time trying to get the details of this box and was very pleased with what I got.
This is the best box for the money by far, I have not discovered one flaw with this box."

Excellent customer service
Pros: large capacity, drawer liners, locking feature well built, smooth operating slides, great flat black powdered coated textured paint, great return/exchange policy.
Cons: rivets not flush in some areas, can have multiple dents throughout, lid may be racked, paint can have imperfections.

"This tool chest provide plenty of room for all your tools and has smooth operation in all aspects. Drawer slides operate cleanly and have a snap style close feature that assures you the drawer is closed. This is a heavy duty chest and built with good weight to it. It rolls smooth and the lid has a locking feature with the lid closed, which I prefer to ensure the drawers are locked. Comes in handy when you have a 2 Y/O running around. The bottom cam locks the securely and you know it's locked just by the sound. So overall it is a good chest.
I would say excellent but I had several returns due to manufacture defects and several dents that where revealed after the heavy duty packaging was removed. I must say that even though I had multiple returns, EXCEL made it right! So if there is any issues with the tool chest, COSTCO returns and EXCEL's policies, they will make sure you are satisfied with their product.
I have become familiar with the powers that be at EXCEL because of this but like I stated, they have unheard of customer service when it comes to a product that is so cumbersome and large to exchange.
This is a great purchase and I know that if I ever have a problem that I can turn to EXCEL to fix it without a hitch."

Flimsy tool Chest
Pros: costco's responsiveness
Cons: poorly engineered locking mechanism on top chest, missing handle, dented upon arrival

"I was immediately disappointed in the poor quality of Chest. Chest clearly lacks the ruggedness expected from such a high dollar item. Top Chest was impossible to lock properly on first attempts. One or more drawers would always remain unlocked and numerous attempts would have to be made to secure all drawers. Drawers would also slide open while rolling cart if not locked. A defect my previous Chest did not have. After four months of battling I decided to purchase the 72 inch stainless steel model at my local Costco store. This time I was able to test drive before buying. I am so happy with the 72 inch monster and it cost me half the price!"

Great Toolbox

Amazing capacity!

Strong and Solid Product!
Pros: heavy duty ball bearing drawers
Cons: side cabinet is not offered.
"I got my box last week, my son and I un-crated it, the top and bottom boxes were packed and well protected, after attaching the handles, it was ready to load up. It rolls easy and the drawers all glide smooth even when loaded to capacity. For the price you can't beat this box, Very Strong and Solid, drawer liners were included in every drawers. You won't be disappointed."

Poor quality
"Purchase and shipping went extremely well. No damage to box. Here's what I found to be unacceptable. Most of the detents on drawers either didn't work or were so weak as to be useless in holding drawer closed. Top box cam locks chattered when opening and closing. Top lid was tweaked, catching on one side requiring two handed opening. Only the bottom chest top drawer had dual drawer guides, the deeper drawers on both units should have had this. Returned it the same day I received it. Had bought the Torin 42" top and bottom combo a few weeks earlier for my trailer use and was impressed with it's quality considering the cost was half as much as this combo, unfortunately not as much storage space."
