Terrific camp oven

Pros: cooks evenly accurately, convenient and plenty of baking room, quick and easy setup, stainless steel, no need for batteries or matches for startup
Cons: needs better carrying handles on the oven
Model Number: Camp Chef Camp Oven # 303320
" If you enjoy baked bread, cookies, biscuits, lasagna, stew, etc. at camp without the fuss of heavy cast iron dutch ovens (and set-up time required), then this is a must-have to add to your camp gear list. Costco has a great price and includes the padded carry case with handles (the oven itself could improve in the handle department).
I tested the oven on two occasions and the results were wonderful pumpkin/cranberry muffins, pumpkin/cranberry/almond mini loaf, and outstanding sweet cornbread baked in a cast iron pan to achieve a golden crust.
Does not require batteries or a match for auto ignition (uses piezoelectric technology). Heat is distributed evenly via vents in a bottom plate that covers the burner. The oven does get warm to the touch, especially the door. Easy to use, thermostat remains constant after a few initial adjustments (had trouble getting the thermostat to remain upright on the bottom rack when it was unclipped from the top rack but fixed that by wrapping a small amount of foil around the bottom rack to provide a platform for the thermometer to rest on). Interior baking space is 16" wide x 10 3/4" inch from front to back with just over 3" from bottom rack to top rack and 6" from bottom rack to oven ceiling.
Also a nice alternative for rv'ers who have a built-in oven in their rv but might want to avoid heating up the rv by cooking outside.
Very nice quality. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to friends and family. "
