"I recently purchased the Mixed Nuts from my local store. I was disappointed to find there are now peanuts in the mix. Not as "premium" as they once were :-("

"We "rely" on this product in our office. It is the number one snack food. When Costco doesn't have them in the online ordering system, I have to "deal" with grouchiness. I wish they were more consistently available."

Too Many Rancid Nuts

"We have nuts on our healthy mediterranean diet and probably buy 25 or more of theses per year for our family. Unfortunately, we continue to frequently get rancid nuts in these that we buy at the local store. One rancid nut, usually the Brazil nuts, can really leave a horrible taste in your mouth. Costco needs to get tough with their nut suppliers. This happens way too often and in almost every jar. The product and price are great but hold the rancid nuts please!"

Bring Back the Hazelnuts
Pros: quality, price, flavor
Cons: no peanuts (minor con), no filberts (big con)
"I also wish for the return of the Filberts (Hazelnuts). By themselves, the filberts are bitter, but eaten with some peanuts it is a taste delight. I also like it when the peanuts were included with the mixed nuts, but this is a minor detail since now I just purchase a can of peanuts to go with these nuts. The nuts are of a high quality and very tasty.
One reviewer said that there were too many cashews and that is probably true, but again for me, not a big deal.
And i do not think it has too much salt, i actualy add salt (that Duke University study in the 1940's that started all this salt debate was wrong in my opinion).
I still give this item 5 stars, even though I have gone back to purchasing nuts from the grocery store just so I can have some filberts."

"I like the product--the mix of nuts, the taste, etc. The only thing that's really too bad is that they process the nuts in a facility that also processes common allergens like wheat. Since I'm allergic to gluten . . ."

"I've bought these mixed nuts and the cashews for several years. They both have too much salt in them. There's a FDA comment wanting people to lessen their intake of sodium as too many are getting too much sodium in their diets.

Great product, Just right
"Lotta people said they were too salty, and I noticed these reviews were from 2009. I bought them at the store in 2010. They were great. I only wish I had 90% macadamia nuts, in response to the one who said that was a problem. The jars have been quite balanaced. I like to have a handful about 20-30 min before main meals, it curbs my appetite. thanks costco"
