"Great cashews, but far too salty. Ann's House unsalted cashews were great, but they do not seem to be available anymore. Please restock or offer an unsalted version of Kirkland cashews."

"Yes, agree with the other reviewer. Please lower the salt or offer an unsalted version of this. Cashews are of premium quality but I expect healthier alternatives from Costco with low or no salt nuts available."

BEST CASHEWS ON EARTH

Way too salty now - used to be a great product.

"We've been buying these nuts for years and used to really enjoy them. Unfortunately, over the years, they just keep getting saltier and saltier and the quality doesn't seem to be the same. I really hope Kirklands can bring back the previous quality!"

Too Salty
"These used to be my favorite cashews but lately they started making them way too salty. I thought it was a bad batch so I bought some months later and they are the same - too salty. They are so salty that I would call them inedible."

They used to be great, but now...
"I purchased these regularly until about two years ago, when I got a jar that I was not happy with. I noticed that the product was no longer 100% Indian cashews, but instead was a mix of Indian and Vietnamese cashews. You can certainly tell the difference. They are no longer what they used to be. I have bought a couple of jars since that time, hoping to have a better experience, but they are still not great. There are too many shriveled nuts, some are very dark and the flavor is just not excellent cashew flavor. Don't waste your money."

"These cashews are worth every penny. They are so different than the cashews that are sold in grocery stores. The ordinary cashew that can be bought anywhere else is greasy and has a slightly old taste. These cashews from Costco are dry and taste really fresh. There is no better cashew anywhere! Buy these if you are a cashew lover. Why settle for second best in the grocery store?"

"I have been purchasing Kirkland cashews for years at the Costco warehouse (they are sold at the warehouse as single jars). Each cashew nut is very large and I have always been pleased with the freshness. However, I agree with other reviewers that there is way too much salt on them! I will often shake the cashews in a sieve to get the excess salt off. I do this for the whole jar at one time, placing batches of the shaken cashews temporarily into a bowl until I can pour them all back into the cashew container when finished shaking. The last jar I bought, the cashews seemed darker and crispier - they are usually light colored and very plump. I only gave 4 stars due to that (another reviewer had mentioned it too) and also because they are too salty. Otherwise, they are a great value and I will continue buying them!"

Real bad quality

"I have bought kirkland cashew 2-3 times earlier, quality was very good. Normally salt is very high in kirkland cashews.
Cashew which I bought today are of very bad quality. Some are dark colored and tastes bitter. Size is different, some are very big, some are very small blackish (both bitter).
Won't buy again!"

Great quality but WAY too salty!

"I love the Kirkland Sig Cashews. I have been buying them in warehouse (in SoCA) forever. But I have always wanted to ask the powers that be to please make them less salty! When I eat more than about 10, my tongue is raw because of all the salt. I often mix them with unsalted nuts to try to cut the saltiness. I would love to eat some right now, but I had a handful last night and my tongue hurts.
I really love the quality of the cashews--they are fresh, delicious, nice looking, just too salty."

"The last 3 containers of these cashews are terrible (I thought maybe I just got a bad one so purchased them again)alot of them are rotten, they are less salty and really don't taste the same at all. Why change a good thing??Must have found a cheaper product, so much for quality!"

If it ain't broke don't fix it
"I was dissapointed to see that the cashews are no longer strictly from India and are now mixed with nuts from Vietnam. Believe me you CAN tell the difference. I wish people would stop trying to improve on a good product and actually improve the poor ones."
