What a treat! Rock-solid product! AMAZING service!
"Ordered the firepit through Costco. Since I needed expedited delivery I reached out to Hugh, the owner of the company. He got the goods to me from Canada to Long Island, NY in two days. Even offered to do the conversion to natural gas for me.
I took the unit out of the box, connected to the gas line, and lit it all within 20 minutes.
Relaxing next to the Urban Fire 2 reminds me of many quiet sunsets at the Ritz at Marina del Rey where I saw these fireplaces.
I could go on for hours telling you how great it looks, works, and how much value it delivers, but to really enjoy it you need to own one.
So, don't wait - place the order and you won't regret it."

Great Fire Pit
"This was an ideal purchase. We went to some fireplace and patio stores where they assured us we could NOT get anything of high quality made in North America under 3K.
We received the product within a week and it was very easy to set up.
The blue reflective glass looks amazing!
Another note was that the Urban Fire customer service person (Krystal) was very informative and responsive. I had questions about the colors of glass and the amount and she answered within minutes."

Great but.....
Pros: nicely designed, good quality stainless steel
Cons: none except the label could have been straight., small dent
"I bought this and it was delivered within a reasonable time frame but it was mixed up with another shipment from the factory that was headed to Boston. I live in San Diego. Once that was corrected it was delivered quickly.
It came well packed and is attractive. My complaints are minor but annoying. The label was not placed on the unit straight so I removed it. It would have been nice to have kept it but is simply looked funny not being straight.
I was a bit disappointed as it came with a very small dent in the top of the table by one of the legs. The box was not damaged so it did not show until I took off the protective wrapping. It is about the size of a pencil eraser so it is not too apparent but it is still there.
Overall it is a well built product, it is certainly beautiful to look at and it seems to work well on natural gas. The controls were not tight but again, not a big deal.
Seems to put out a nice amount of heat and the included fire glass was just the right amount."

Perfect
Pros: nice table height, 304 stainless steel is a plus
"The firepit looks great with the blue reflective glass. It is just what we were looking for. It comes with a very nice cover with velcro tie-downs, so it will stay during on a windy day. We had a question and the owner, Hugh, called and was able to get us squared away. The unit was packaged very nicely and arrived in perfect condition."

Customer Service is Amazing, Firepit is Beautiful
"This stainless steel fireplace is beautiful and the customer service was incredible. It was shipped the same day as ordered and arrived just a couple of days later. We had problems at first with getting it to stay lit, but they were resolved with a couple of phone calls and a new part. The owner was extremely helpful and even returned my husband's call on a Friday night at 11 pm. We were very impressed by the extent of customer service and absolutely love our new firepit."

Beautiful!
"When I ordered this fire table, the information indicated it might take three weeks for delivery. I was delighted to receive a phone call from Jeff at Urban Fire within a week, asking me what color crushed glass I would like. He was very helpful and said it could be delivered the following week! We love the fire table, as do our guests. It adds a wonderful ambience to our deck and allows us to use it in the evenings even when it is cool. I would definitely recommend it! I saw the very same fire table in an upscale catalog for $600 more than at Costco.com."

a little frustrated
"i purchased the stainless urban fire about 6 weeks ago and each time i turn it on it emits a pretty strong gas odor. the certified propane tech said it looks good so i am not sure what is wrong. i also emailed customer service at urban fire to ask about possible having my cover replaced as it has a hole in it but no one has gotten back to me so i am afraid to move it outdoors because it will get wet. so, not so sure. it's beautiful but problematic."

A Perfect Addition
"This firepit is the perfect addition to any backyard. I had been working 1 month on making-over the back yard and had a party for over 50 friends to showcase it. It was a cooler evening so everyone lingered inside until I lit up the firepit and then everyone seemed to be drawn outside to bask in the warmth. I can't say enough about the atmosphere it creates having it in the backyard and now I actually utilize the space and is quite the destination."

Gorgeous!
"This fireplace is the perfect addition to our modern style backyard, and seems to be very well made. The way the flame bounces off the glass is wonderful. We chose not to hook this up to natural gas in order to keep it modular and it is not a problem at all. We built a decorative end table to house/hide the propane tank and because of the long hose, it works great"

"This fireplace looks great on our deck! We raised it with some platforms so we can see the flame from inside the house as well. We converted it to natural gas, which was very easy to do, and couldn't be happier with the results. Customer service from Jeff in CA was awesome!! Mixed gray and black rocks for a terrific look!"

"I've been looking for a reasonably priced natural gas firepit that would last outdoors in the Northwest. It's all Stainless Steel and excellent quality. When it was delivered I had to switch it over to natural gas and it took less than an hour to assemble, very easy.
Support from the factory is excellent. They called to find out which color glass I wanted and then they called to see how I liked it. Great support!
Last night it was 45 degrees and we sat out till 10:00 and stayed warm.
Great product!"

"I bought an earlier model of this firepit which has the same look which I love. I had some problems with the pilot light going out but Geoff from Urban Fire was more than happy to come out and fix it. I can't say enough for Urban Fire or Costco. I am happily enjoying my firepit."

Wow - amazing product, great customer service

"First of all, this is a beautiful fire table. Clean design and quality construction. That alone should justify the purchase.
You get a choice of colors for the fire glass that goes in the bowl. They'll contact you after you purchase and arrange for your selection.
The company behind this product is really incredible. I had some presales questions and also some postsales support calls. For presales they were super responsive and very thorough in their answers. Really knocked my socks off and made this an easy buy.
Once it arrived (well packaged/handled), I had a plumber do the natural gas conversion. He had some questions and so we called them up -- very fast response, very specific, knowledgeable guidance through the process. I had another question about operating it and left a message on their voice mail. Got a call back the same day -- again, super knowledgeable, specific support.
Really, I can't say enough good things about these guys. Love the product, love the service."

Definitely a Design Wow
"I purchased this almost a year ago, redesigned my deck to accommodate this fireplace and a seating set. The quality of the design and finishes are top notch; it is easy to assemble - it doubles as a nice table to set your drinks on and creates a compelling social environment with of course the heat it provides and the unique design. Just last night, we had someone asked us what kind of fuel it works off of - because of the unique aspect of glass and the flames.
The only issue that I have continually had with it is that the pilot light does not put out a high enough flame all of the time to keep the thermocouple hot. This causes the entire flame to go out. I managed to rearrange the glass around it to block the wind a little to reduce it - but it is a bit annoying, hence I only rated it 4 stars - if that was more reliable - I would rate this fireplace 6 stars!"

"The Urban Fire is perfect for sitting out on a cool night with a cool beverage. Low profile is great for outdoor furniture, spreading heat and being able to see across. Very happy with the product and the customer service. We received a call allowing us a choice of glass color but even better was that the delivery person took it out back, set it up and had it fired up before leaving. We looked at many pits for 2-3x the $ that didn't look or work as well. Also can be used as table with matching stainless steel cover."

Unique ambience, great outdoor living
Pros: not a backyard bonfire, says "upscale", can make cooler or warmer, the fire virtually dances on the glass mesmerizin, urbanfire and costco stood behind product
Cons: not a lot of glass, cover is nec. for protection; diminishes beauty, wd be nice if bowl could be removed
"A work of art, and a great way to entertain outdoors. Living in Florida, we appreciate being able to turn down the flame. Even so, we' ve had a couple of 20 degree nights where this made for cozy wine parties.
I did not give 5 stars because the first one was a dud, but Costco and urbanfire stood by the product and did us right!"
