Not a good fit for cool climates.
Pros: well built, easy to assemble, friendly customer service, would purchase again from company, good looking unit
Cons: too small to fit two average size adults, too long to heat not efficient

"This 1-2 person sauna is perfect for me and my wife, we want to buy long times ago, just found costco sell it,we buy it right away ,we are very happy costco customer,they take return with no question ask and refund 100 percent, that's a seller we trust most.
This sauna heat up 130 take 30-40 mins, preset timer 90 mins is so right, speaker sounds clear just like in pro music room, the light make me feel so nice ,it changes color like in night club but with slow dance.
After 2nd use , feel like a lots of virus under my skin are gone out , my face and skin look cleaner, I think my wife will not need to buy any more facial lotion."

Fantastic Customer Service
"I recently had to contact the folks at Golden Designs because my sauna had stopped working after over a year of flawless use. I not only received a prompt response, but the manager himself walked me through possible solutions. Replacement parts were shipped promptly and easy to install. In an era of less than helpful customer service Golden Designs is a breath of fresh air. If the Overal Rating had 10 stars I would have given them that."

"It's a very good product with reasonable price. It did not take too long to assemble (~ 1 hour) . But you do need two strong persons to do the job. Overall heating is very good except the floor panels. They are not hot enough."

"Why Do I love Costco, Let me count the ways:"
1) Quality of this sauna is a 10
3) The unit is truly beautiful

4) MP3 music great. Two speakers

7) Reading light and mood lights are a swanky touch
8) My skin looks radiant for days after I come out

The only boo-boo I made was size. This unit looks like a phone booth. I am 5'6 and I can't stretch out my legs from wall-to-wall if I am sitting on the bench. My two teenage kids have no issue with space, but laying down would have been nice.
Now knowing how beautiful this unit is, I should have spent the extra $200 to get the larger size. I have a crazy basement with varied ceiling heights and this unit fits easily anywhere because the height is shorter than the normal ceiling.
Also, there was an item missing. After contacting Costco, the manufacturer called me within 30 minutes. You gotta love Costco.
BLUF, buy a larger unit and treat yourself to the backrests.....why???...because we are worth it. I can't believe I didn't purchase this unit sooner.
UPDATE: My kids are using it too...Dogs sit outside and can't figure out why we are inside. Love it!!"

"I am in my 70's so it was a bit too heavy for me to put it together or even unpack.. The delivery man was wonderful and dropped it in my garage. I had trouble getting it off the platform it was bound on. It weighed 300# so no wonder. I called for help and the two guys put it together within half an hour after unpacking it and I was able to use it that night. It is well built and beautiful to look at. Arrived sooner then expected. Costco rep called and was very helpful in telling me what to expect and if I had any problems to call him. I did have to call Dynamic to find out where the instructions were. Told they were inside but I opened the wrong side. They said to read before you assemble. Each model is a little different."

"The sauna arrived today, and delivery was great! My son and I had the sauna assembled and working under an hour. I used it for the first time and LOVE it! "Delivery Driver great. 3 year warranty on Costco website vs 1 year warranty in Manual.
Use Daily. Both of us can fit. Are we the only one that received a really cool bonus feature not advertised on the site? Back rests necessary for us. Added insulation around door to keep heat in and heat faster. Very impressed that I can sweat with it as I haven't ever sweated very easily in the past.

2. I know backrests are separate. They cover the from the lower to upper back area. I'm wondering about leaning my head against the heaters. It would be nice to be able to relax head/neck and back.

"From shipping to instructions to performance, the sauna arrived just as described on the web site. The trucker brought it into my garage where we opened it and brought it into the house in sections.
I had one small problem with the door "rubbing" as it closed. I called customer service and they quickly resolved the issue.
My wife and I couldn't be happier!"

"Can you handle the truth, here it is. I purchased the smaller 1-2 person sauna. The time between purchasing online and delivery was rather quick seven days. The trucking company and driver were excellent. The driver placed the 300 pound item at the rear of the residence and was very careful while transporting it. The prior reviews were quite helpful. It took about 20 minutes to unpackage the unit. The only step in the process that assistance was needed is when you place the front (door) on the base and need someone to hold it in place while you attach one of the sides. They attach so easily and without any screws that all four sides are up in 10 minutes. One review stated if you are putting the unit against the wall to prop up the rear panel against the wall first before the others are attached because it will be difficult to get behind the unit. A good idea but the unit can be slid forward if needed to attach the rear panel. It took less than an hour to complete by myself. Two things that are not explained is the placemet of the floor panel and screwing down the bench seat. There is also holes in the floor panel for screws but I did not screw it down just in case something falls down between the slots and onto the heating element I will be able to lift it and turn the floor panel upside down to remove any item. The seat is alittle difficult to screw down since the holes are so close to the rear panel. The size is okay for one adult but not two. The floor heating panels are quite weak and will bother some but the other heating panels will do the job. It takes about 30 minutes to heat up to about 135 degrees and don't forget to close the roof vent. The 5 minute warning buzzer is nice but it should also signal you when the session is over. The lights just shut off on the display panel. The interior light and speakers are good. I still have some hesitation about having my Iphone hooked up to the speakers with the extreme heat inside. There is a little shelf that is provided where you can place your water bottle or ipod/phone device. If you install it place it as low as possible because the floor heating elements are weak. All electrical connections are quite easy. The appearance of the unit is very nice and fits with any decor. I am very pleased with the amount of sweat your body produces from a 40 minute session. The going rate for a sauna session around my area is $30 for a 40 minute session. If you use it 5 days a week it will pay for itself in 2 months. I just ordered the back rests and have not received them yet. In order to be comfortable and to relax I think they are a must have because you can't lean against the heating panels. The warranty is only 1 year which is disappointing. Overall the sauna appears to be a good product for a good price. All information about these types of saunas say it can reduce cholesterol, high blood pressure, weight, and improve skin condition. That is a good selling point."

"As others have pointed out, the sauna is very well made, relatively easy to install (definitely requires two people) and is a pleasure to use. When we completed our installation I noticed that the control panel was not working properly, I emailed the manufacturer and within the hour they responded with recommendations on how to diagnose the problem. Turns out, it was a faulty control cable. They immediately shipped me a replacement, and all is well. Great product, and great service (and at an unbeatable price)."

"Delivery and Assembly was easy. The company said we needed 2 people for the delivery which is definately not the case. The driver put the pallet in the garage, this is not something the could be done by hand. Assembly was easy and the directions were more than adequate. Its a with a top/bottom and 4 sides that are pretty obvious. Assembly took 45 minutes start to finish by myself. On average I give it 30 minutes to get up to the 130-140 range. It is small inside, but that is what I expected. The lighting is good, back rest is mandatory, speakers make it very enjoyable, very easy to read a book inside."

"It was delivered withing a week in northern California. A rep from the manufacturer called and confirmed about the product I ordered and let me know the delivery procedure. The truck driver was friendly enough to drop it in the middle of the garage with the holding palate so it can stand upright for couple of days till I was ready to assemble. About the size of the refrigerator, which is what the neighbors thought till we unveiled the assembled sauna.
For two persons it should go smooth, a bit heavy to do by one person. It is surely a 5-6 hours job and need plenty of space to unload and assemble, it was sprawled all over my two car garage.
The assembly instructions are quite lacking in pictures and clarity. For this price they can provide color pictures or video and more tags on the panels to indicate top/bottom and front/back etc. One needs to parse vaguely written instructions and translate into physical attributes to understand but is doable with a bit of application. Best would be for the manufacturer to post a video.
It takes me at least 1/2 hr at 130 F to sweat and I guess it depends on the person. Takes about 15-20 minutes to reach that in the winter with temp around 50 F in the garage.
Yet to know about the damage on the electric bill."
