Super Solid Bookcase
"This bookcase is super sturdy and heavy - about 100 lbs. Shipping was quick, and it arrived intact. The finish color is true to the picture. Once assembled, it is simple yet elegant. Would have easily had to pay 3 times as much for something similar at other well-known home furnishing stores."

Well Built Bookcase
Pros: instructions were ok, looks like a fine piece of furniture
Cons: box is very heavy and hard to move by one person
"The box this is delivered in is pretty massive and very heavy. The good news was the delivery guys set it inside my house, so I was able to carry the thing, in pieces, to it's final resting place.
There was no damage to any of the parts and the instructions were sufficient for a speedy construction. It took about an hour to put the whole thing together. Using a powered screwdriver it very helpful for the large number of small screws that hold on the two back panels.
The bookcase is well contructed and looks great."

Beatiful Gloss Finish
"This is a great buy considering the overall value including ease of installation, quality, look, and free delivery service.
I ordered 2 shelves. First install took about 30 min, 2nd one less than 20 min. ideally, have a moving blanket underneath the pieces to protect them from scratching (they do stratch easily). Have ready a screw driver and one additional person to help you.
Tips on installation: Have the patience to follow the short and simple installation instructions, step by step. They are to be followed to achieve the highest efficency and speed."

"Poor delivery service; poor quality with 'scratches' all over, and assembly a complete nightmare; pieces barely fall in places until really forced; very bad choice of purchase, highly not recommended for overall quality and experience of purchase"

the good news and the bad news
"Our bookcase was promptly delivered in two days--the good news. The bad news--the color is NOTHING like the photo. The wood color is DARK! Happy with the product, but not pleased with the dark color of the wood. I know it states mahogany but the photo is VERY different than the product."

"This is a beautiful, sturdy bookcase that perfectly matches the decor of my home office and all of its furniture. It took about 1.75 hours for two of us to put it together. Only slight defects that were not visible. I am absolutely pleased with this one such that I am ordering another one to go next to it for a wall of shelves."
