No Good!

"It used to work but not anymore! It is becoming well documented on the net that Fleas have become immune to this now. Go for Advantix for dogs and Advantage for cats."

Flea Soap Will work Better

"It’s been about 7 days since we applied Frontline & Porter is still scratching! Flea Shampoo works better that this overpriced stuff, I’ll give it another week & if Porter is still scratching we're going back to using the cheap Flea Shampoo...And before anybody asks NO the dog was not infested with fleas and still is not, and no he does not have dry skin....Can somebody recommend a long term flea treatment that is really works besides weekly baths?"

innefective

Pros: decent price from costco
Cons: doesn't work
"I've used this product on my black lab ever since i got him 8 months ago. Over the past 2 months he's started getting a flea infestation that just keeps getting worse despite increasing the frequency of dosage from 1 month to 3 weeks. The Frontline Plus seems to have no effect at all on the fleas. I also have cats that receive monthly doses of Advantage II. They don't seem to be having any flea problems at all. I'm switching to Advantage for the dog to see if it works any better."

Doesn't Work

Pros: nothing
Cons: ineffective, expensive, messy, pretty much everything
"This seemed to work in the past for my dog, but I have had trouble with it over the last year. Despite religiously putting it on him and taking other flea control measures, he is currently covered with fleas.
I'm switching to a new flea control medicine, and I advise others not to waste their money on this worthless product."

No Longer Effective

Pros: good price if it worked
Cons: no longer kills fleas
Model Number: Frontline Plus
"The fleas have become resistance to Frontline. Even the honest veterinarian will tell you that. The formula for veterinarian Frontline is the same for Costco Frontline. Try Advantage, it is still working for now."

Cautious

"I was ready to once again order Frontline from Costco, BUT, I saw and read these reviews. I have used Frontline for years. After applying this product the last time to my 2 labs they both had reactions...I never gave Frontline a thought as to the cause. I'll go back to the Vet ..never had a problem there. Still love Costco, but the price savings is not worth high vet bills."

Find something else

"Have been a Frontline Plus user for years, has always been very effective with our dogs and their flea problem. Started to suspect something had changed in the formula sometime last year (cannot get rid of the fleas no matter how many doses I apply)...so was glad to read other posts making the same claim."

Terrible Product

"I have used this product for years on both our dogs and cats with wonderful results. I've bought it from Costco.com for the last few months and all of our pets are covered in fleas! Maybe Costco should get another product? Definately won't buy ever again!"

Causes excessive scratching

"I had previously used K9Advantix on my dogs with great success. However, loving costco prices I switched when I saw they carried Frontline Plus. My
Cocker got hot spot within the month and just could not stop scratching. My Bichon did not get the hot spot, but scratched uncontrollably. The formula has to be bad because I have used the product in the pasr without these results. Not worth the costco savings.

Frontline Plus doesn't work anymore

Pros: convenience
Cons: doen't work at all
"I've used Frontline Plus since it came out and never worried about my dogs or cats having problems with fleas or ticks.
Something has changed and not for the good. Costco is amazing and I love shopping with them, but the Frontline products that I, my family, and friends have purchased this past year don't work any more. In fact, we had a $192 vet bill on one of our Golden Retrievers because it didn't work and they ended up with horrible hot spots that made him very ill.
My 54 pound Brittany has had a lot of sores and I have had to use a flea comb at least twice a day after using Frontline Plus to cut down on the fleas.
I've been researching and it seems that either the formula has changed or fleas have become immune to it. Our local Costco store no longer sells it and sells K9 Advantix which we purchased and has helped, but we've gone through a lot our money trying to get rid of fleas in our home and yard and on our pets because Frontline Plus just doesn't provide any protection anymore.
Still love Costco. Don't love Frontline Plus and think that Costco should be warned about this problem."

Questionable results!

Model Number: Frontlline for 60lb canines
"Up to recently, I have not had a need to use any 'flea and tick' deterent product. My pups
were both at the vets for routine examinations
and picked up fleas!! Frontline was not effective! I've ordered Frontline twice now with little or no sucess but I have found success using FURFRESH.Natural Citrus Shampoo instead resulting in no more fleas!
COSTCO needs to consider carrying this superior product! It's natural and offers a money-back guarantee.

Fleas Are Hip to this Product

Pros: costco price, easy application
Cons: stopped working in san diego
"Have been traveling this year and used it in WA with fair success. Seemed to work but run out right at the 30th day. Went to SO Cal for 4 mos and the abundant flea population laughed at Frontline. I know how to apply so that was not the problem. Ppl at the dog park and dog beach all said the same and had moved on to Comfortis, a flea pill. I chose not to do that and suffered the flea problem.
Fleas can become resistant to a popular product.

Unsure

Model Number: f60606 (lot #)
"We used this last year with great results, but I am not convinced this time around. We see the dogs going after something in their coats...and we have been bitten by fleas. I gave another half dose and will see how that goes. Ordering and shipping were excellent, but the product may not be as effective as it once was."

Tried and True Frontline

"It delivers what it promises.
However, Frontline's patent has expired. So now, they have enough money in their coffers and can share with others.
