Lack of alcohol in the wipes..
Pros: price is very reasonable
Cons: hand's don't moisten by only 1 need about 3 or so
"I got 2 boxes the other day and after I tried out just 1 wipe I clearly saw the difference from Sani wipes. I actually need to use 3 wipes to come to the equivalent of 1 Sani Hand wipes."

Thin cheap wipes that dry out too quickly!
"As a germaphobe-mom who loves Purell, I was sorely disappointed with the Purell Sanitizing Hand Wipes. I thought it would be great to keep several individual wipes in my purse for the kids, but I soon found them mostly dry. The material Purell used for these wipes are small, thin, and stiff; it would've been better if they were more similar to baby wipes. Even when these wipes were new and still moist, usually a couple were needed for each job (such as cleaning a kid's 2 dirty hands) because the wipes were too insubstantial. Imagine those cheap public restroom paper towels versus thick soft Bounty, that's how these Purell wipes are like compared to typical baby wipes. (You always need a handful to fully dry your hands.) Of course, baby wipes don't sanitize, so that's why I tried these in the first place."

Great item, very durable

"This is a great item. It will not tear when you wipe and there is enough wetness on it so you can easily wipe both of your hands (and my son's hands too) before it dried."

A significant downgrade

"I happened to have one of the older Purell handwipes available to compare with the newer version. The new version is like a piece of waxed paper saturated with alcohol and the older one was flexible, soft and absorbent. I would defintely not recommend this new version."
