Very Satisfied
Model Number: TV0860FBK
"Arrived on time undamaged. When you get to step 2 of assembly instruction do not, repeat, do not assemble bottom panel with stand upside down. The unit must be right side up or you will not be able to insert the bottom panel, other than than instruction were perfect. also, if you happen to scratch any part of unit use a black magic marker to repair scratch."

Sturdy and Nice Looking Console
Pros: sturdy and nice looking, company very response to missing hardware request, good value
Cons: instructions & missed drilled holes for shelf
Model Number: TV0860 FBK
"Difficult to assemble with the instructions provided. After readings other peoples comments I was able to get the instructions figured out. I was short a wood dowel and a couple screws. I contacted the company. They were very helpful and quickly shipped me the need parts. The shelve bracket holes did not line up perfectly on one of the center partitions but I was able to drill a new hole for the bracket fairly easily."

BUY THIS!
Pros: style, value
Cons: holes for cables need to be made
Model Number: NEWCASTLE media console with drawers ebony
"This set was super easy to assemble. It looks great and has a nice contemporary style to it. Only down side was that I had to drill in some access holes in the rear for the HDMI and power cables of my electronic equipment; however it was easy to do."

Amazed with the quality
Pros: easy and quick to assemble, solid construction, can be taken apart and reassembled, no fake cardboard backs like similarly priced ones, bolts rather than screws
Cons: no way to route cables from side cabinets
"One of my favorite things about this cabinet is that you don't screw into the wood. There are metal inserts already in the wood that you simply screw bolts into, so disassembling/reassembling will not damage it, and it's very quick to set up. Tip for assembly: The bottom piece must be aligned correctly (look at the notches), don't do that step upside-down like in the instructions, outside of that it's fairly straightforward."

Solid construction
Pros: durable and solid, nice appearance
Cons: no venting, styrofoam is messy, no wiring access
"This piece is very solid and appears durable. Most pieces are solid wood. It looks very professional and wouldn't mind seeing it in any room of my house. There was no damage despite the box being somewhat beat up.
On the down side, it has absolutely no venting or access for wiring in the back, you will need to drill holes to put any components in there behind the glass. Even after drilling eight 1/2" holes and a 1.5" hole for wires, the unit is still not venting well enough to keep an Xbox inside from getting hot with the door closed. I had to add a small fan inside. The middle section is open and doesn't have this problem.
The sytrofoam it comes in easily crushes into a million pieces and gets all over everything. I hadto vaccuum every surface of the unit."

GREAT CABINET
"This cabinet is good looking and is able to house 6 components. It was easy to assemble, so I don't know why so many people on this site say it is difficult. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there should be additional holes on the back side for wiring. Other than that, the cabinet complements my existing decor just fine."

Very happy with this!
Pros: sturdy, beautiful with plenty of storage
Cons: instructions could be clearer, very heavy for one person to try and assemble
"Although this console was not easy to put together, once done it is beautiful. Arrived in perfect shape, with all pieces included. Looks way more expensive than it is."

Great Media Console!
"I received my media console yesterday. After reading previous reviews I don't know why some would say this unit was difficult to assemble. First, I received the unit in a timely manner. Second, I assembled the unit by myself and it took me no more then 20-30 minutes. It was very easy directions to follow and I had it up in no time ready for my 55' Sony XBR to sit on. I have not yet put my other components on yet so I cannot comment on accesibility and/or connection of those components within the console."

Great buy!
"I am so pleased with this media console. Although you have to put the console together, it is easily designed to do that. The instructions were easy to understand and the pieces fit together well. It looks great, too. I don't think you can beat it for the quality and the price."

Great Cabinet!
"Not sure why people are having trouble assembling this cabinet. It was one of the easier cabinets that I've assembled. Nice construction. Very happy with my purchase. Only complaint is it could probably use some more holes for wires in the back."

Great Product
Pros: quality product
Cons: only 1 hole in rear, instructions aren't great
"This is a very high quality product. The assembly was easy because I followed the other reviewers suggestions (this is a must). The assembly took about 40 minutes. The only down side is it only has one hole in the rear to run wires. You have to drill additional holes to run components to the side shelves. Overall very satisfied with this purchase."
"delivered timely, well packaged. easily put together in 20 min, do need 2 ppl, one to hold top fm underneath while the other screws in place. sturdy, real wood. only critique, wished the glass was more textured so hide some of the clutter."

Quality product
Pros: sturdy
Cons: difficult to assemble
"Delivered on time and in good condition. The directions were beyond worthless and it was a struggle to get the piece assembled. However, the final product is sturdy, nice looking, and a perfect addition to support our 47" TV."

Solid and Stylish
Pros: solid not cheap looking
Cons: you need to drill holes for cable management
"Looks great, takes about 30-45 minutes (with two people) to assemble.
I'm not sure why everyone else had so many problems putting this together, but the instructions are just fine if you can read. You do need a second person to help hold the bottom while you screw it into place.
Also, you will need to drill holes in the left and right compartments if you want to run cables out of your unit - again, takes about 5 minutes to measure and do, not that hard."

Worst Instructions/Set Up Ever!
Pros: solid, nice looking
Cons: worst instructions ever, awful time assembing the unit
Model Number: 375163
"Once we got this console together, we really like it, but it was the worst designed furniture we ever put together & we assembled dozens of furniture for our home & our son's home. Luckily, my husband is a building contractor & had saw horses, because we ended up assembling the piece on them. Otherwise, you are holding up the bottom piece while you are under the unit trying to screw in screws (no electric drills are to be used on this piece). There were few pictures in the directions & they were so small & lacking in detail, it was hard to follow them.
The unit holds our 60" Sharp Aquos with no problem & is nice looking & heavy (not flimsy)."

Looks great, runs good
"What I expected / hoped for. Relatively easy to put together if you're good at interpretting directions and fairly agile and strong. If not, a two-person job. Not enough shelves; needs 2 or 3 more. With more electronics, holes for cords in the back of both side cabinets would have been nice. I used a hole saw. Strange fiberglass-like material on the panels. I removed with a wet cloth."

TV unit
Pros: easy to assemble, good looking
Cons: flimsy backing, hard to wire if you do not have the right tools
Model Number: TV0860FBK
"Good value for the price, definitely not a high end piece of furniture but easy to assemble. I was able to assemble in 45 minutes. Fortunately I have worked in the home theater industry and had to add holes for cables and would recommend that the holes are reinforced with plastic audio cable rings available through specialty datacom suppliers for $2"

Love it!
Model Number: 375163
"Thanks to the previous posts we got the console out of the box without pinching our fingers and put together without reading the evidently bogus instructions. Thank you all! It only took about 20 minutes for me and my son to get together and it looks amazing with my 55 inch flat screen on it. No nicks, no dents, it's perfect. I'm very satisfied!"

Looks Can Be Deceiving!
Pros: looks good
Cons: faulty instructions, difficult to wire
"Please take note of other reviews about the assembly instrucutions. The bottom panel must be inserted from the inside, not from the bottom. Once you do that, by setting the unit upright, you can easily install the middle leg and dividers. The second big problem is the lack of holes in the dividers. I'd prefer a unit with an open back that backs cabling much easier. The unit does look good, but it's not the most convenient for connecting multiple components. I also found that the shelf width was too narrow for one component. I would look around at other units in the comparable price range."
