Pros: not a bad price for an adult tricycle.
Cons: poor workmanship and quality control.
"After putting the bike together, I found out the drive sprocket was not attached and the bike was unusable. The bike customer service was no help. Returned to Costco with no problem.
Purchased second bike and after putting it together. I found the rear band brake did not work, The disc the band goes around was not installed properly. I moved it to the proper location and it seems to be working.

Bought 2 bikes, returned 2 bikes

"Bike #1 - rear brake defective - returned bike.
Bike #2 - didn't shift well. Never could get all the gears to engage. Seat post bent.
Absolutely no problems returning them to my local Costco.
Recommendation: have a pro assemble the bike. Buy it before the summer rush, otherwise the bike shops have 2-3 week waiting lists."

Excellent Tricycle

Pros: rides nice, ez to assemble, shipping carton was good no dammage
Cons: none
Model Number: Bayside 24" Adult Tricycle
"E-Z to assemble, we mounted a piece of plywood on the back then we mounted the basket, more sturdy that way. With my wifes knee replacements she can appreciate the multiple speeds. I put on a bell and front and rear lights and a horn."

Bad Brakes

Pros: smooth ride, stylish, seven speeds are good for hills
Cons: heavy, bad brakes, cheap tire tubes
"I had the trike professionally assembled, as the instructions suggest. It rides pretty smooth, even though it is heavy. The seven speeds really help with the hills. The first week I had it, one of the back tires blew out and the bike shop said there were inferior tubes used and he replaced it. From day one, the back drum brake didn't brake completely when used. And about three weeks into using the bike, the front brake starting making a horrible screeching noise when I used it. I took it back to the bike shop and the bike shop guy suggested using sand paper to sand the brake pad down. The screeching was "lessened," but soon continued within a few days. I again went back to the bike shop and left it for them to figure out. He did all he could for the front brake, but it still makes noise. And as far as the back drum brake not working, he couldn't work on it, suggesting it might be a design flaw, and suggested I take it back to the manufacturer to have them fix it.
I'm pretty bummed because I like the trike, and I bought it specifically for the safety factor, as I take my 16 mo. old son for rides in a bike seat. I'm tired of sinking money into the trike. I'm going to return the bike back to the warehouse and keep searching."

Fantastic Bicycle

Model Number: Bayside Trike
"Delivery took only 2 days. I had it assembled at local bike store, whose comparable price for an inferior equiped one speed was over $900. They all raved about the standard equipment ,excelent gears, brakes, front suspension and other features of this exceptional bicycle. Being wheel chair bound this tricycle allows me back outside and able to get some excercise again. Highly recomended to anyone!!"
