Worth Every Penny

Pros: curved heating plates, can style curled or straight
" I was hesitant to spend money on a hair iron. I bought a cheaper brand, had it on the hottest setting, my ends would end up frizzy. I have a CHI hair dryer and love it, so I decided to give this a try. I absolutely love this iron!!! I love that it has a curved plate. You can curl or just pull it straight to have a flat look. My ends stayed smooth all DAY!!! I ordered one for my daughter. You can't beat Costco's prices...YAYYYY "

Very Happy

Pros: the rounded barrel on one side, it heats quickly, leaves hair shiny
Cons: no styling tips ( i found some online), price is high but still lower at costco
Model Number: GF1200
" I did not expect it to work this well because the plate looked too narrow and it looked like a curling iron. Even though Costco has a great return policy, I do my research. I watched an online video of someone showing how to do (very in style) curls with it, and also straightening their hair, both with great results. I don't like to spend too much time on my hair, but I want it to look good. My first try, it left a few crimp marks,so I had to learn how to pull it though quickly because it gets hot fast. I like that the temperature adjusts. The second try it came out shiny and straight but I was able to flip the ends up and turn the layers under, so it did not just look broom straight and I did not have to use any velcro rollers. I still have not tried curls, I will have to practice and maybe watch the online video again. I have already gotten compliments on my (shoulder length) hair style and I love the way my hair looks and feels. I am very happy with this purchase. "

I Love It!

Pros: tames fly-away
Cons: no auto turn-off
Model Number: Model GF1200
" In 2007, I purchased the ConAir Flat Iron from Costco. Although it straightened my wavy hair, it left it frizzy & fly-away.
When I saw that carried Chi products, I decided to give it a try. It was more expensive than the ConAir. I can't believe how great the Chi works. I am truly amazed. My boyfriend commented that my hair looked so full - like I just came from a salon. If you’re skeptical about spending a lot for the Chi, give it a try…it’s worth it. Praise to Chi!

" Very smooth plates, great for straightening and also for curling. Worth the money. Adjustable temperature, looks very nice. "

" I was disappointed with this iron. I will be returning it to Costco. It does not perform as well as the standard Chi iron. I can achieve the same results with a regular curling iron. "
