Great Choice

Pros: lots of storage pockets
Cons: a removable shoulder strap would be a nice feature
"I ordered two bags from Costco.com and I liked the Targus much better then the other 17inch laptop case. This Targus has all the nice little pockets for pins, pads and other small items. Only thing I would change is to make the shoulder strap removable, otherwise it's a great choice."

Perfect for My Needs

Pros: well padded, extra storage
Cons: must remove laptop for airport security
"This bag had ample room for my laptop. Snug fitting and well padded. I did have to take it out through airport security checks but this was not a big deal for me. This bag holds everything I need and a few more items were easily added. The Messenger style strap made this easy to carry. Purchased online and delivery was fast. There is additional space that looks like it could be used for a Tablet or a Cooling pad if you wanted to add those items. Best Pricing found was of course, at Costco!"

Easy access and size

"This case zips open wide enough to easily put the laptop inside. Other cases did not. This was our criteria as we had tried other cases and the openings were too small for ease of in-&-out for a 17" laptop. It also has plenty of storage. Delivery was quick too. Although this seems to be the largest "opening" of the current Costco cases, I bought one thru Costco a couple of years ago that had an even larger opening. I prefer the largest zipper opening."

Superior Quality For Larger Laptops

Pros: easy to get laptop in and out plus protection
"I bought another case for my 17.3 HP Laptop but was very disappointed in it. It was actually too big and didn't secure the laptop at all. My son recommended this one and I am extremely happy with it. Nice quality, fits and protects and a great buy for the money"

best value bag

Pros: plentiful features excellent value
Cons: wouldn't mind a bit bigger bag to carry more
"bought this over a year ago and I've looked at many different bags since. None of them can compare with the Targus if you factor in features versus price. This is an extremely durable bag with great features. It's one of the few bags that will fit a 17" laptop with ease. Interior pockets are well-thought out and functional. Shoulder strap is comfy and non-slip. There's also a strap on the back to hold it onto your roll-a-board luggage when traveling. Other bags with all these features cost over $100. You may find a better bag, but you won't find a better value."

Targus laptop case

"I am real pleased with this case. It seems they thought of everything. There are special places for papers, pens, cell phone, and ID. It is a good strong fabric. I expect I will get to use it for a long time. And the price was reasonable."

Very good value

"Very nicely made, and yes - my HP Laptop with 17.3 inche screen fits nicely. If you have a smaller laptop, there is a removeable divider to keep it snug. The pictures are misleading. There is no external cellphone holder. The other photo that shows a water bottle holder is accurate. There is a cell phone pocket inside."

Good purchase, missing phone case

Pros: spacious, sturdy, lots of storage areas
Cons: missing phone holder
"I just got this bag yesterday. It looks sturdy, has enough compartments and padding. The only thing missing is the phone case that is in the picture - and I really wanted that feature! I'll see what I can find out about that. Otherwise, good material, spacious, lots of compartments, and ready to travel!"

Great fit and good price

Model Number: TCG200
"This was the first bag I saw for the big laptop I have and it was a good price. I needed the padding to be in the bag and it is just right for me. The Targus name is good also.
I would like to see one with handle and wheels in the future for a good price also."

Appearance So-So, Questionable Zippers

"My 17.3 laptop fit okay but the overall look was just barely acceptable. The interior zippers didn't come up to the top when zipped closed and I was concerned that with normal wear, they would malfunction."

"Excellent price, durable case, fits well with my 17.3HP.
Has lots of room for my adapter cords, mouse and software programs.
I have been looking for a case for my laptop for over 7 months. Others were cheesey and expensive. This fit the bill.
Thanks

It actually fits!

Pros: acutally does fit the 17.3" laptop, very reasonably priced
"I've been looking for a reasonbly priced case for my 17" laptop since I bought it last December but none of the cases that claim to hold 17" laptops actually do. This one does! It not only holds the laptop, there are lots of extra pockets to hold the cord, a portable mouse and papers. Not only that, but the case is extremely reasonably priced. All in all, there's nothing negative I can say about it."
