Excellent
Pros: long shelf life, reliable company, no rotten or moldy fruit in fridge
"I have eaten dry out of the bag and liked them all, except the peaches. They need to be hydrated. The peaches and apples took a little longer than directed to hydrate, but tasted fine after. They were all great in yogert and cottage cheese."

BUYER BEWARE!
Pros: quality taste
Cons: overall size and serving size

"Size matters! The picture of each can is twice the size of the ACTUAL can you will receive! AND the serving size of 1/4 cup is enough for a small child...maybe! Therefore the 283 servings is really about 70-80 adult servings. For the price I expected ALOT more! On a good note I did try the strawberries and they were very good."

The best
Pros: no added salts or preservatives. no fillers.
Cons: none
"I have friends that wanted to invest in emergency food. I found fault with all their options. When I ran across this product I ordered some to try out. The end result is I will be ordering more.
I travel for work and hate restaurant food. This food is quick, easy, tasty and nutritious . There is no added salt to the fruits and vegetables. No added preservatives or additives. It comes in whole chunks that rehydrate quickly with water."

Excellent Quality
Pros: good flavor dry, tons of product
Cons: not so great rehydrated
"I have only used my apples thus far, and will be storing the rest, but wow, the price is great, and I am really enjoying the fresh flavor. I am eating them straight out of the can. I have tried to rehydrate, and was dissapointed at the cut of the apples, rather small. But for snacking, and not having to worry about spoilage, they are great, I will use them off and on during the year, between store visits , when I run out of fresh apples. So much better than the ones I tried to dehydrate myself!"

Wholesome Food Storage
"These freeze-dried fruits are excellent quality in both texture and taste. This is definitely a good choice for stocking up long term storage food for emergencies, or just for normal use when you run low on an item and cannot get to the store. Thrive foods are good quality and the company offers online recipes and how to videos for food preparation. And you cannot beat Costco's price."

"Shelf Reliance is a great company with an excellent product. I received my order in just over a week and have always been satisfied with the quality of the Thrive product.
I did not receive the apple slices that were included in the package, but did receive two cans of peach slices. That's OK with me, because I dehydrate my own apples. THANKS to COSTCO for carrying these products!"

Tastes Great!
Pros: tastes great, convenient #10 cans, very lightweight
Cons: tends to be a lot of settling due to handling, serving sizes are suspect
"The taste of the freeze-dried fruits was great and way beyond my expectations. You don't have to worry about the fruits getting spoiled and no refrigeration is required. If you're someone like me who likes to snack on healthy foods but have a tough time buying certain, fresh fruits throughout the year, this variety pack is for you. Eating multiple servings everyday, the pack will last between 1.5 and 2 months. I will definitely buy this variety pack again. The cons I listed are minor, however, you shouldn't be surprised by those when you receive your variety pack."

Amazing Taste
"This product is amazing. The taste is fabulous. We are a family of two and we always have fruits and vegetable going bad because we can't eat them in time. You can't beat a 25 years shelf life! I eat them right out of the can, just like any dried fruit. I have ordered the vegetables, and can't wait to try them."

Buying these is a no-brainer for me too
Pros: can be used 99.9% of the time
Cons: i wish the containers could be filled more, i wish the price could be under $100

"We currently are stationed in Mauritania, Africa were vegetables and fruit are scarce since we live in the Sahara desert portion of Africa. We ordered this case and waited the three weeks until it finally arrived through our US pouch system. Let me say it was WAY worth it. We use it when we make pancakes, ice cream, smoothies, and other meals. We have used it for a few receptions out here as well and have gotten high reviews and questions on where we found raspberry, strawberries, peaches, and blueberries. To say the least Thank you AGAIN Costco for helping us to help you! Will be buying this brand every few months to keep our children and guests happy."

Buying these is a no-brainer
"So good to eat out of the can or use in recipes! We are loving these and can't stop eating them. With the raspberries there are some bits that have broken up into small pieces or even powder but I have found you can just rehydrate those into a sauce and it is not a problem."

"I Opened the Raspberries to give them a try. I was suspired at how tart they were. Also, once I got down to half a can or so the Raspberries were broken up needing a spoon to eat them. I have not tried any of the other flavors because I plan on keep them for long-term storage."
