Great Value, works perfectly

Pros: great value, clear picture, loud sound one bar is loud enough
Cons: none found so far with this price
"I bought one of this on Thanksgiving and very pleased with it. Everything works perfectly, including remote.
I have seen some complains about no pic out of box. I had the same feeling when I first tuned on the power. But I wanted to point out here that if you are using cable, then you need to follow the manual to change the receiving option to "cable", then scan the channel before TV will show any pictures. After I did this, the pictures shown up fine from the cable."

A best buy...Good Return on $$$

Pros: picture qualify/dvd good, sound qualify very good, receives digital tv well
"Great buy. Arrived on schedule, worked well right out-of-the-box. Picture quality good using only internal digital antenna. DVD and remote both work fine. Good ROI for my $$$. Read other reviews and have no negative comments. Seems if you get a good set, all is well. Usually folks only write in to complain, so I thought I'd take the time to level things as a satisfied Proscan customer. This is my 2nd Proscan set as 1st was good too."

NEXT PRODUCT PLEASE

Model Number: 32LB30QD
"The TV picture had a major shadow on the left side of the screen the second time I turned the TV on. Taking it back to Costco, and looking for a quality TV with a DVD player!
I took the chance to save $ and lost time in the process. Next Product Please! :("

High Hopes for this product

"I wanted to get lucky with this product but I didn't. I know the price is good and you get what you pay but this was worse than expected. This was for a gift and I'm taking it back. Right out from the box the remote didn't work, the connection for the coax cable broke during installation. Really bad experience."

Bad DVD

Pros: picture off cable was good.
Cons: dvd a disaster.
"I purchased this strictly based on the price and the chance of getting one without DVD problems. Unfortunately my DVD wouldn't play any disk more than 10 minutes and then required multiple requests to eject. The picture was fine on my cable input especially the HD channels. Add to this a very sluggish "command" processing time with the remote and the price couldn't compensate for the defects. Brought it back to my local warehouse and received my refund with no problems. Concierge service tried to help me out but we couldn't get a response from Proscan."

STOP = Don't Buy Proscan - bad co warranty

Model Number: 32LB30Q
"My tv started bleeding a line defect a few days after the 90 day warranty was up.
Proscan does not return calls and Costco needs to dump this product.
A lot a good a 2 year warranty is if the manufacturer won't call you back.
DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. You to will be sorry.

AVOID PRO-SCAN!

Pros: none!
Cons: bad tv; bad pro-scan "service"!
"Thank goodness I bought it from Costco! Marginal TV right out of the box. Started loosing lower channels shortly afterwards. Pro-scan DOES NOT answer calls & took 5 weeks to get a call back. That was with Costco and me calling and leaving messages! Luckily I was able to return it and pay a little more for a nice Samsung. Definitely worth the few extra $! Proscan was a great TV 15 yrs ago, not since buyout..."

Glad I did.

Model Number: 32LB45Q
"I read all reviews on this model and the other Proscan models that Costco offers. Some were realy bad and had the same problems. I dont know if they fixed them but none of the problems [green pixel, Hum, remote, picture quality, hdmi cable, set-up, etc.] have I encountered. I'm realy happy with it. got my HD box and works fine. The money I saved bought a Blue-ray. Picture is great [not fantastic] but realy good. Soud is awsome. lowest volume setting can be heard fine anywhere in the bedroom and good quality. Take a chance its worth it."

NOT WORTH IT

Model Number: 32LB45Q
"I bought this and tried every adjustment there is trying to get the black and grey colors to look somewhat normal.Watching movies or anything that had dark scenes appeared as if I was looking through a screen window, the contrast ratio is just not enough. I returned the unit and purchased a unit with a much higher contrast ratio all is well now."

Black Screen out of box

"I just received it today, and assemble it out of the box. I turn it on and it only have black screen. i m surprise with how bad it could be with no quality checking at all at this company?? How can a TV out of box with black screen to a customer. It can clearly to evaluate how bad this company product can be. It will be my only time and no other time to buy anything from Proscan. Returning it tomorrow. What a disappointment!"

Worst TV experience I have ever had!!

Model Number: PROSCAN 32 LCD HDTV
"I was happy with this TV for the pricing and liked it untill I tried to hook up my DVD player with HDMI cables. Both of the two HDMI ports were bad on the original set and I tried two different HDMI cables in both ports. I then had a replacment set sent out and once again both of the HDMI ports on the set do not work!!
So two different sets and they both have bad HDMI ports!!!
Do not buy this TV! It will be more of a hassle then it is worth!!!!!!"

Can't argue for the money.

Pros: cost, picture
Cons: could have a better contrast ratio, could have a 3rd hdmi port
Model Number: 32LB45Q
"I have nothing bad to say about the TV. Are there nicer sets? Yes. Do they cost more money? Yes. Is the extra cost worth buying a different set? No! This is the nicest set I have seen anywhere for the money. 1080P for less than 400.00? Sweet! This tv will provide you the greatet bang for your buck! The value can't be beat by any other retailer. Thanks Costco!
For those who have complained about broken remotes......mine works fine.
For those who have complained about dead "green" pixels........mine has none."

Nightmare

Pros: good picture quality
Cons: not being able to use hdmi cable
Model Number: Proscan 32LB45Q
"After hooking up the TV the nightmare began;it took hours working with tech support, Verizon Fios phone tech support, and finally Verizon tech house call to get this Tv to work. Remote was no good, batteries supplied were no good, couldn't use HDMI cable because the TV wouldn't work(picture no sound or sound green screen) finally tech used combo of cables(monster cable) the slightest movement of tv and the cables fall out-other frustrations too numerous to mention;however, all related to hook up because the picture is very good if you don't have a break down resolving the hook up issues it's a good looking set."

Great TV - Very durable

Model Number: Proscan 32" - 32LB30Q
"I removed the original TV from our motorhome and mounted this TV in it's place. My mount was not very sturdy and the TV took quite a bit of jarring and bouncing over 12,000 miles of travel this summer. But it never failed, the picture is sharp and clear. I use DISH HD and I am very pleased with the performance and reliability of this set. I am going to replace the TV in the bedroom and I am looking for another Proscan to replace it."

Another great Costco purchase!

Pros: figured out how to get the cable remote to work!!!
Model Number: 32LB45Q
"My husband and I had been in the market for a 32" 1080p TV for sometime and when we saw this deal pop up we knew we couldn't let it pass us by! We were well aware of the previous ProScan issues with remotes and other issues here and there. We are here to say that after 2 months of owning the television we are more than satisfied!
We messed with the remote for a week or so and then a DirecTV (Which we have also purchased through Costco) consultant came to our home to setup our new HDVR and was able to program their remote control to work with the television."

32" 1080p LCD HDTV

Model Number: Proscan 32" 1080p LCD HDTV Item# 427872
"I purchase August 20,2009 but I didn't received until first week of September and remote control does not work and it takes eight weeks to tell me TV remote control was defaulted, it was spanking new TV. proscan have a terrible custom service, it takes 2-3 week to receive other remote control and I get three times but none of remote control was working because new TV was no good. I returned 60 days and only problem was remote-control. everything was good, bad service and very slow. good for computer monitor not TV,"

Nice HD Picture/Bad Pixel

Pros: nice clear hd picture, great price
Cons: bad pixel
Model Number: Proscan 32LB45Q
"Excited to finally get rid of our big bulky TV. Unfortunately, this TV had a bad pixel just to the upper left of the center. Really liked the price and picture crispness."
