Great product
"Very easy to install as well as maintain. Just changed the filters easily. Be sure to shut the water off otherwise they do not snap in . and you end up with water all over."

Great water filters
Pros: very easy install, good price, did it myself
"I own the filtration unit that these filters fit. I purchased it online last year to allow me not to have to use an unknown RO system that was under the sink when I moved into this rental house. I just detached the water lines from the Ro system, and hooked them up to this unit. There was all ready was a faucet for the Ro machine on the sink so I had the filtration unit hooked up to the faucet. No brand name was on the Ro machine-I had NO IDEA what brand it was, nor what filter it too. Plus, it is a HUGE ORDEAL to replace a filter on an RO machine-you have to empty the tank and flush it,, change the filter, and hook everything up just as it was.
So this baby was ideal!"

Great Buy
Pros: very easy install with limited plumming skills.
Cons: changed faucet nut to wing nut do to limited space

"This is my first water filter system I"ve ever installed,It was fairly easy to install,at my age it was hard working under the sink,Oh well. I changed the faucet nut to a wing nut, much easier to tighten with the limited room i had to tighten it. I noticed the difference of the water taste was by far greater then city water taste. Should of had this system long ago. PS= My coffee and food taste much better using this system. Thanks to whom ever put this system together."

Great Alternative to RO (Reverse Osmossis)
Pros: price, taste, water savings, much less maintenance
"We originally purchased a Watts Reverse Osmossis filter with the built in pressure tank. It took up a lot of room under the sink, but produced good filtered water.
However, within months it began making an awful noise whenever you were dispensing water. The noise was so loud you could hear it at the other end of the house with the bedroom door closed. We researched it and Watts said to cut their plastic water pipes shorter. We did, but still had the same noise.
Shortly after that, the water filter spigot began leaking. A replacement was horribly expensive. It had only been about 1 year since we bought this RO filter so we took it back to Costco for refund (thank you Costco!)
We purchased this filter and have been very happy with it. We were concerned that the water would not taste as good. We honestly cannot tell a difference in taste or quality. (We have very hard municipal well water.) The filter has been working great, we don't waster a lot of water like the RO filters do (apparently the self-cleaning process) which saves on our water bills. Plus, we don't have the maintenance of the water pressure blister and the pressurized lines that Watts wants you to clean regularly.
We highly recommend this filter has an inexpensive and great working alternative."

"I bought this water filter system a year ago and I am completely satisfied. It was easy to install and the water tastes great.
The replacement filters I just purchased installed in seconds. This system saves my family money by not buying bottled water and it seems we all drink more water now too.

"Well designed, smooth install, easy operation.
The price was good compared to RO, with adequate purification. The faucet is beautiful, but occasionally drips or weeps, leaving mineral deposit. Watts sent a free replacement with no questions asked and hope that fixes it. I do run a higher water pressure in the house to feed irigation system."

Simpler system
Pros: easy to swap cartridges, no water-loss compared to r-o

"We switched from the Watts Premier reverse-osmosis system to this 3-stage unit to save water (the R-O uses 4 gals for every 1 of purified).
The added benefit of of the UF3 is the ease of changing the filters. With the R-O, you had to turn off the water supply, drain the storage tank, take out the old filters (typically a wet, messy job), reinstall the new filters then fill and drain the tank to remove impurities.
With the UF3, its a 30-second cartridge swap - they just pop out and snap in!
While the R-O offers somewhat better purification and taste, the difference wasn't worth the cost and hassle compared to the 3-stage filter of the UF3."

Watts UF3 under sink filter system

"Having used the faucet mount water filters for a long time we decided to try the under sink variety. This system is so easy to replace filters without turning anything off its amazing. At least according to the spec sheets, this is a great system for removing contaminants from your water supply without wasting so many gallons with a reverse osmosis system that wastes more water than you use, and you only change 2 filters twice a year and one annually. Now that is easy!"
