Worth the time to build

" Excellent purchase. Our kids love it, we've had ours for about 6 months in the South Texas Summer and no fading what so ever. There's ton's of bolts and screws and you'll need a lot of patience. But if you have kids than you already have the patience!
We saved about 2k when compared to Rainbow Systems. The wood is thicker than those you see at other stores. It was well worth it. "

Very good overall!

Pros: excellent value, good appearance
" There were lots of reviews for this version that you can find by googling, but for some reason they are no longer on the Costco website. Anyway, we took the EXCELLENT advice of sorting all of the wood and hardware and labelling it. I sorted each piece by number (58 different wood pieces) and put a small masking tape with the number on it, as about 20 pieces were not labeled by the manufacturer. I also sorted the hardware by each step. I (wife) was able to do this without involving my husband, and it took about 5-6 hours. Then, we had a contractor come and it took him about 11 hours to assemble it, and staging the work as above was crucial. It cost $550 to have professionally assembled by our contractor, who was meticulous at making sure it was leveled correctly, etc. My soon-to-be 3 year old daughter loves it! We looked at Rainbow, Backyard Adventures, etc. and each one was a good $2000 more than this one was, and seem very similar. "

Not bad for the price

" Definitely a beating to build but the provided DVD really helps clarify each step better than the written instructions.
Some of the thin wood pieces (like on the floor and picnic table) make supporting a large adult questionable.
