Best Pet Health Probiotics with Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil is a unique blend of ingredients formulated to help support healthy gastrointestinal function and promote good health in dogs and cats of all ages. Omega-3 essential fatty acids help maintain immune health. Probiotics provide a source of live, naturally occurring microorganisms that help balance normal intestinal flora. Digestive enzymes support proper digestion. Pure wild Alaskan salmon oil is stabilized with natural antioxidants and guaranteed to provide freshness, purity and taste.

Directions for Use: One (1) teaspoon per 20 lbs. of body weight twice daily. Best if added directly to food. SHAKE WELL PRIOR TO EACH USE.

Good stuff but Dog likes Fish Oil w/o Probiotics
Cons: taste
"I have used this brand of fish oil before without the probiotics with no problem. For some reason, my dog doesn't like it. Prior to getting this product, I used the other brand costco was selling online.... Cosequin brand...and my dog loved it. So I am returning this fish oil with probiotics and getting the best pet health fish oil without the probiotics...and that one comes with a pump. I've read reviews on Costco.com where the probiotics was an issue as far as taste. At least, I'm not the only dog owner with this problem. And it might be well worth your time to try the fish oil without probiotics if your dog doesn't care for this one."

Very good for dogs
Pros: good product for the price
Cons: none so far
"This product keeps your dog's skin and coat healthy and shiny. Mine has been using the wild salmon oil for for 3+ years with satisfactory results. Due to other health issues, her stomach started to act funny. I bought the salmon oil with probiotics and it seems to work. The smell is not as strong as the other one and it will only last couple hours in your dog's mouth. No bad even then. She loves it!"

Excellent Remedy for Canine Poor Skin & Coat
Pros: improves skin & coat, noticeable results, works quickly
Cons: thin runny liquid, messy, dogs find it less tasteful with added probiotics
"I have 3 mixed breed dogs with various skin and coat types and ALL 3 DOGS HAVE SEEN IMPROVEMENTS in their skin and coat with this product! I orginially tried Best Pet Health Wild Salmon Oil without the probiotics but I wanted to try the version w/ ProBiotics for extra benefits. Unfortuately, the dogs don't seem to care as much for this version (which feels more watered-down & it's messier to give/handle) but now I'm stuck w/ 2 very large bottles of it and it IS an excellent value w/ wonderful, healthful benefits. I would recommend Best Pet Health & all of their products b/c they're wonderful, although my dogs & I both seem to prefer their Wild Salmon Oil minus the ProBos!"

"While it is too soon to tell if this product has a health impact, I can report that Costco's service and delivery were excellent as usual. The product is affordably priced and my pets seem to be ok with the taste. Research has established certain health benefits for dogs that get fish oil so this is certainly worth trying."

Good price for product
Pros: price, probiotics
"I put this in a little dish for my cats separate from their food and they lap it up if they want it/need it. I haven't had the same issue with the cats not wanting to eat it that some of the other reviewers have had. My cats seem to enjoy the licks. One cat won't eat lettuce but if it has a little salmon oil on it, he'll eat it up. I'm not a chemist so I'm not really sure about the quality or effectiveness of the probiotics in the product but if it doesn't hurt, I'm happy to try it. The cat's have pretty soft fur already but I think this helps. I like it and will continue to feed it to my cats for as long as they choose to eat it."

Great product, great price
Cons: packaging.
"When our Australian Shepherd was a pup we were told to give her a bit of canned food daily to help maintain her coat. We did that for a number of years until someone told us about using salmon oil instead. She loves it, her coat is better than ever, and it is so much better for her. Thought I couldn't be happier until I found it on Costco.com...at half the price I was paying. A word of caution, though, my last order contained a leaky bottle and while the warehouse gave me a refund without question I was glad I hadn't ordered anything else at the same time."

Great Product for Cats AND Dogs!
"My Springer Spaniel and two cats love this stuff..!! Its amazing how quickly I saw a difference in their coats, nice shinny and soft. I like that this also has the probiotic which has helped my cat with her digestion problems... overall, happy cats, happy dog and happy "mom"."

A Dogs Best Friend
Cons: it can give them fishy breath.
"I have been buying this product for a couple years and it is wonderful! We have two dogs, one over 60 lbs. and one over 80. They go through ALOT of this oil, but it has made their coats shiny and their skin much less dry. The scratching has almost stopped. Also, this price is absolutely the lowest and best deal of any place I have shopped. The Probiotics have helped with their digestion, especially for the dogs on meds. I would and do recommend this product to everyone."

A must have
"I feed 2 teaspoons (1.5 sec squeeze) for breakfast & dinner for my senior dogs.
They all love it! I've noticed really healthy poops because of the digestive enzymes as well as extremely silky soft fur.
I mix around the 2 teaspoons in their food & make sure the kibble is coated.
It would be nice if it had a pump, but there is a small opening in the top which is nice."

"Bought this for a couple reasons: dandruff and stomach problems. One dog most likely has peptic ulcers. She throws up water after drinking it on an empty stomach. She was adopted and we healed her of some problems, but she was left with a bad kidney and the stomach problem. After being on this stuff, she does not throw the water up anymore! Unfortunately, cat still throws up. Maybe b/c s/he (not sure which one) eats too quickly. Also going to switch brand of cat food in attempt to conquer problem. As far as dandruff goes, not sure this has fixed the problem yet (it has been about one month)."

Good decision for my dogs
Pros: my dogs love the taste
"I was hesitant to purchase the Probiotics with wild salmon oil based on the reviews but since I have been looking for a good probiotic product for my dogs I decided to ordered it anyway. My dogs love the taste and I do not have a problem handling the bottle nor I have a problem with any fish odor after serving the oil to my three dogs. I did not remove the bottle seal instead I made a small hole to allow the oil to come out through the pouring spout into a measuring spoon and then into the food dish. I keep the bottle in the refrigerator."
