Best sheets ever

Model Number: 11504794
" These sheets are wonderful. Inexpensive and they fit my king sized bed well. They are soft and silky. I have travelled to Venice, and I slept at the Gritti Hotel. Costco sheets felt as nice as the Italy hotel sheets. The colors are lovely and I own several pairs of these Kirkland King sized sheets. Thank you Costco "

Extremely nice sheets.

Pros: silky and very good quality., very well made.
Cons: fitted sheet a bit too big but i tuck it in.
" These are so soft and silky. The fitted sheet is a bit big but my mattress isn't very thick. We have 3 sets of these and love them. "

Better products out there

Pros: supima cotton, 600 tc, price
Cons: baggy fitted sheet, wrinkles far to easy
" The fitted sheet is too big. A fitted sheet should fit tightly around a mattress. I have to reset the sheet every morning because it comes loose and gets sloppy. Not sure what Kirkland was thinking when they designed these. Really ruins what could have been a great product. "

Nothing good to say about these sheets

" First, let me say that I've owned four different sets of Kirkland/Costco sheets; one ripped recently and I replaced that set with these. Let me list the ways that these sheets are awful:
1. They are the noisiest sheets I've ever owned...they make a loud crinkling noise that almost sounds like a rubber sheet...I think it's because they are ridiculously thick...if these are single ply, then they are the largest threads I've ever felt.
2. They are fuzzy to the touch, not silky like the previous incarnations Costco sold. They almost feel like a fuzzy flannel, but less soft. They're almost sandpapery to the face. Because they're not silky and smooth feeling, they do not have a nice, cool feel to them.
Because of the thickness and fuzz factor, they sort of velcro themselves to the mattress, making it hard to smooth them out and after washing them at least four times, and trying to sleep on them once, I'm giving up and returning them. They'll never be soft and silky, and they'll never stop making noise. They're going back, along with the Charisma sheets, which I ordered out of desperation and are nothing like the old Charisma sheets of years ago. Just a warning to anyone who might want to try those as an alternative...they're not thick and noisy, but they are warm and fuzzy. Aargh.

JUST OK Purchase

" These sheets are just pretty good. They don't feel quite as soft as I imagined they would. Because they are made to fit extra deep mattresses, they do not fit too tightly on my 16" mattress and therefore look sloppy after a night of sleep. I find I am always pulling them back onto the bottom of the mattress. "

Acquired Taste

Pros: excellent quality luxurious
Cons: might feel too warm for some
Model Number: Item 599765
" Let me first emphasize that these sheets are really good quality, well made, ample length for deep mattresses, feel extremely smooth, silky and luxurious, and great value ($69.99 at the local warehouse) - wouldn't expect anything less from Costco.
We are in Scottsdale, AZ, and our bedroom is at about 70 deg.F. Outside night temperature is about at 42 to 44 deg. F. It is February now. We had a lightish weight duvet on top of the sheets. Our normal sheets are 400 TC Royal Sateen Egyptian Combed Cotton from Costco.
With these new 600TC sheets, we had a very poor night's sleep (first use). Both my wife and I felt very hot (a dry heat!!) and we had to throw off the duvet. We could try to keep our room a little cooler now but later in the year it gets very hot here and our room temperature is then set at about 78 deg. F (with either a light bedspread or just the sheets). So it will only feel hotter!
I don't know if we will get used to these sheets or not because my wife will not sleep another night in them. I guess the tighter weave traps more of your body heat than the lesser thread count sheets. It might work for someone in a much cooler room or climate.
I have read mixed reviews of high thread count sheets at other websites and they have similar heat concerns.
Therefore, we rated these sheets at 3 stars and conclude that they are an acquired taste. Otherwise they are 5 stars. "
