love the vacmaster

"I have used it twice and it seems to be very well made with good suction. I needed something for bare floors with quick change out on accessories. I have a lot of dog hair and debris like leaves, grass that get carted in the house. The pet hair fills bags to fast and smells. This is the ticket and is also good for the car. I compared bagless upright vacs and this won. You can get bags for the Vacmaster as well and it comes with one . When it is together most tools fit in the holder but even that is no big deal. It is easy to open, easy to reach the switches and the power cord is great. I could use a longer cord but it works."

Great Hard Floor Vacuum
"I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I was searching for something to use specifically on hard floors. I looked at various stick vacuums and wasn't satisfied with their reviews and decided to look at some alternatives. This vacuum is perfect. The floor attachment glides easily on the hard floor and does a great job of sucking up various sizes of debris. I have two little boys who make quite a mess at meals. No more pushing dirt all around the room with a broom! I love the attachment caddy, very handy. The cord rewind doesn't pull in the last 12 inches of the cord and I just tuck in the leftover cord in the caddy. Most cord rewinds have this issues and normally it would be a bother but with the caddy I don't mind at all. I also use it on the rugs and stairs...works great for both. However on the stairs where we have thick carpeting I prefer to use a plain attachment, instead of the floor attachment, which doesn't work great on thick carpets. If you are hoping to use this on regular carpets I would look elsewhere. But for me, this was exactly what I wanted, something that had good suction for hard floors, rugs, and stairs. Very happy!"

Good Small Vac

"Kind of a shop vac-canister hybrid. Nice features, like the rewind cord, good suction, and decent selection of tools. Pretty sturdy for a plastic unit and not too noisy. Would work well in a garage as a car vac. We'll see how durable it is..."

Great Vac for in home and garage use

"This vac is very convenient to use for me and my wife, from the easy pull up cord, to the big and easy to find on and off switch. It came in handy when her small Oreck for the kitchen spills was in for repair. It runs circles around the Oreck, is much more powerful and versatile. It is good for wet and dry use. The handle and size make it easy to carry for my wife and easy to store in a closet with the regular sweeper. Costo's price is the lowest availble and the their policy is great."

Pretty good!
Pros: handle for lifting suction power, wheels to roll around
Cons: cord wont stay out., tool caddy not large enough, not enough room for attachments
"We bought this model because it has wheels, and a retractable cord and a handle on top to carry it. The suction is pretty good BUT the retractable cord does not work, When pulling it out, there's no way to get it to stop, it just keep trying to go back in. Big huge pain in the but considering the price. The assembly was very easy and it's not that loud either."

Nice lightweight vac

"I bought this vac to use in my minivan and to clean drapes, ceilings, etc. It does a great job on all! I like how light it is...very easy to move from room to room, and has a lot of suction power. I have used it on my hardwood floors, as well, but the plastic attachments aren't nearly as nice as my Miele, so will continue with it on my floors. Good for quick pickups of messes in kitchen, though. Overall, I am very pleased with this vac. Oh, it did a great job cleaning out my minivan, as well."

Its Fine
"Love the color, most shop vacs are yellow or bright red, not my colors. Vacuums tough spider webs and animal food. Like it, has not caught a bunch of hair like vacuum cleaners and gets the motor burnt or broken because a shoe lace or plastic bag get wrapped around. I like it and its only been a several months, but I am happy with it."

"I purchased this based on the excellent reviews for a quick pick up of pet hair.. I am very disappointed in the overall quality and performance. I didnt realize is was a wet/dry plastic vac.
I cant find a reasonable source for the disposable filter bags."

Great vacuum
Pros: the extentions made it very easy to clean ceilings, powerful, quiet, lightweight, compact, great price, easy assembly
"I bought this vacuum because my full size one is bulky and difficult to maneuver when cleaning the stairs. This is great since its small, portable, and light. It also has a handle which makes moving it around easy. It only requires putting in 4 screws (for the wheels and handle), which I found easy to assemble. Good quality for the $$ paid."

best small vacuum ever
Pros: lightweight powerful relatively quiet
Cons: not all attachments fit on caddy
"I bought this in january after my eye vac (also from costco) broke. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats in a house with carpet and hardwood floors, so I wanted a vacuum small but powerful enough to use daily. I'm so glad I bought the Vacmaster because it is light, powerful, and relatively QUIET! The attachments work really well for hardwood floors and carpet; they even fit underneath the sofas. The vacuum also retracts the power cord with a push of a button, which is very convenient! I was considering a dyson or miele before this, but now, I am buying a second Vacmaster as backup!"
