Not Great
"I really thought this was going to be great. Read the instructions. If you have blond, white or grey hair, this product is not for you and the DVR they include state that right away. My hair grew back faster than with a regular electric or standard shaver."

I'm encouraged
"It's too soon to tell, but I am encouraged by the early results.
I have had lots of professional electrolysis and laser treatments and I can tell you this does not hurt like those do. may take a few more treatments, but at this price, I think that will be fine!"

Disappointed!

"I was very excited to receive this, because I absolutely HATE waxing. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me at all. I have strawberry blonde hair, and thought that it would be dark enough to allow the light to work, but it didn't. So it's back to the salon for me...."

"I love this product, the only thing that disappointed me was the fact that you could not use it on your face.
A couple of weeks after I got the machine their customer service dept called me and said they finished their 2 yr study and it is now approved for the chin."

excellent product
"I've been using the older model and it's fantastic. The bulbs last a long time, you notice results immediately. Read the instructions and follow them. I was reluctant as it was expensive but I gave it a try and it really works. And comparing to the salon cost, it's actualy cheap."

works but slow
Pros: great price if it works for you
"I have done 5 applications of the treatment to my underarms and bikini areas 4 of them on level 5, and my bikini area has show great results - I have hardly any hair left. However, my underarms harldy look like I have done anything. I am going to continue and hope it eventally will have an effect."

Amazing- it really works
Pros: very little pain, easy to use, amazing results
"At first, I didn't think it was going to work. I thought this because i didnt feel pain like a regular laser. After the first time of use, i saw a difference. Missing spots of hair!! It really worked. I used it on my husband, and after the second use, the hair was 50% reduced if not more. I just wish i took before and after pics. I LOVE this product. I'm getting it for my brother also."

"I have a problem with my machine burning out the cartridges too quickly. Customer service has sent me two replacement cartridges but the problem is with the machine not with the cartridges. I now have had four cartridges burned out only after limited usage.
I have left two phone messages and two email messages and have not received a response from their customer service. Is this company still in business?"

Genius idea great product
"I’ve recently started using SensEpil and I’m already noticing a difference with my body hair. Treatment was painless, clean and fast. I zapped my bikini, underarm and legs and after just 3 treatments I notice that I don’t have to shave as often and the hair is starting to shed off my body. This is much cheaper than going to a laser clinic, I’d have to pay $2500 for just my legs alone at the clinic near my house."

This works, for a lot less than professional!!
"If you have the right skin and hair type, this product works as well as professional hair removal - I know, I've tried both. I have been THRILLED with my results and it has cost me WAY less than the professional estimate I got. The estimate for just my thighs was over $2500 but, with this machine, I've done my calves and thighs, my arms and my underarms and, 3 treatments in, I've had fabulous results and spent less than $800."

Pretty good
Pros: works pretty well
Cons: replacement bulbs are $50-60
"This works pretty well. The other reviewer stated the buttons were broken, but if they read the directions they would know there is a safety that keeps the system on low for the first 50 pulses. This is to protect people with sensitive skin. Overall I would give it a B+ and I think it is worth the money in reducing hair, shaving and other issues. I still have some hair after 4 months of use, but it has been reduced by about 75%."

I love my SensEpil! Easy and Effective!

"I have tried every hair removal product I could find. I was still shaving daily, and summer was a pain! Laser was painful and expensive. This is a dream!!! I can treat my arms, and bikini area in about 3 minutes, 20 minutes more if I treat my entire leg area. After 1 treatment I saw hair loss, and any hair that grew in was finer and softer. My underarms are all but hair free. Best yet, I did it at home and it did not hurt! Best product yet!"

Not worth it
"This item is expensive. I had done 5 treatments and the only change I saw was that hair was growing slowly, but not decreasing in amount at all.
I never used to shave, I used an epillation method, so that is probably why it didnt work. I didn't like having to shave in between treatments.
Anyway, It looks like it worked for most people, but unfortunately I didn't want to spend more time or money on this method. I like the epillation method better."

Freedom From Unwanted Hair!!!!!!!!!

Love my Silk'n
"I have been using the original silk'n for a year and have had fantastic results. 90% reduction in my hair over entire body.
The first reviewer who said her setting was too low and the buttons would not respond clearly didn't read the directions.
The unit starts at the lowest setting and then after a few zaps it will allow you to increase to the next level.
There are directions with the unit for overriding this setting which will allow you to use the highest setting and will turn on all the buttons.
READ THE DIRECTIONS and UNDERSTAND them before trying to use this product."

It does seem to work
Pros: easy to use, effective, cost efficient compared to salons
"I've used 2 sessions. I intentionally did only one leg to compare results and hair indeed reduced.
I used it on bikini and underarms too, but didn't see results so far. I'd give it more time.
I did jump right to level 5, which is still much weaker compared to professional salons. I'm asian, fair complexion and black hair, I guess I am close to the ideal candidate for this machine.
Not a con but I did find that when using it, it was hard to keep track of the areas that's already been covered. You don't want overlapping areas since it might burn your skin, so it's impossible to get a full coverage."

"Was so excited to see it advertised. I have medium colored skin and dark hair. Had professional laser removal 7 years ago paying almost $1,000 for bikini and abdomen area. This is a bargain in comparison, plus you can do it in the privacy of your own home. So far, have done 3 treatments on legs, arms and underarms. Legs had the most coarse dark hair. Noticed slower growth from the first treatment and now only very small patches of hair are left. The best part is NO ingrown hairs. When you're using it, some areas will sting a bit more than in others. After you're done, it may still sting, but it goes away quickly. It really works! It truly is the best purchase ever!"
