Please bring back capsule form

"When the capsule form of Dermaquin was removed from Costco, I tried this. When I received it, the bottle was damaged and fishy smelling. Please bring back the capsule form. It was easier to give to my dog and I don't have to worry about it leaking."

Fishy Odor

"My dog loves this stuff. It's great for his coat and helps him with his allergies but.... It makes him smell really really fishy! It's so hard to stomach at times. It's really great product, maybe in pill form? Bc oils stick to his mouth and he smells fishy! It's really good product though!"

Good.....

Pros: not much "fishy" oder
Cons: weight gain
"I was skeptical that my 3 pugs would go for this product.....but they did! Within a couple of weeks their coats were very soft....one pug has a very "pokey" coat....it was great at making it very soft and pet-able....2 of the 3 have skin allergies and this product did nothing for that...I had high hopes that it would help....but alas it did not. But if you are looking for a soft coat then by all means I recommend this product. My guys loved the flavor and would sometimes over eat....so be aware if you are a free feeder like me they can and will put on unneeded weight!"

Dermaquin

"Unbelievable! In a week as others said dogs coats were shiny and there is NO odor. There is almost a sweet smell.
We have three 13 year old bichons one with sores on skin that did not respond to medicated shampoos for years - all gone. We have a pointer terrier mix with itchy skin, spent 1000's on allergy testing and special foods to no avail. In a week it is like a miracle.(I did give all dogs extra amt. for 2 weeks). 2 border collies with no skin problems but coats glisten now.
We tried fish oil from vet(very expensive oil) years ago but dogs refused to eat it.
This is added over dry food with a tbl. of wet food and they eat it all up. I started with capsules and cut them and squeezed contents over food.
Warning though. I had an empty capsule left out overnight and the next day it smelled like fish oil. They are out of capsules so i am going to try the liquid form but I am going to be careful to keep bottle protected so the mint taste remains. I do not think the dogs will eat if it smells like fish oil.

Best Purchase for my dogs

"Love this product. Best thing for my dogs skin and coat. It is cheaper and by far better than what the Vet prescribed. Would highly recommend it."

Great!!

"I have 3 pugs and one has pretty course fur.....well this really made a big difference in the way his coat feels.....all three have shiny coats.....and very soft and silky to the touch. Two of them have skin allergies and this has helped with that also......I hesitated to buy this product thinking they may not like it.....well that turned out not to be the case, they love it and it has little smell to it!"

Great Product

Pros: shiny coat
Cons: none
"This product will get your dogs coat shiny in about a week and half. I ran out one time and I instantly could tell the difference in the dogs coats after a couple weeks without the use of this product. Also, my dogs love the taste."

Good results

Cons: none
"With only a few weeks use I can see an improvement in my dog's coat and a great reduction in scratching. No offensive odor from the product, easy application and my dog appears to like the flavor"

Seems like a really good product!

"Had it only for a couple of weeks. My dog seems to like it, and his coat seems less dry than it was before. Will know in a month or so about how good it really is! I would recommend this product!"

Excellent Purchase!

Pros: works wonders!, great price
"I have two Golden Retrievers, and one of
them had extremely dry and flakey skin.
I tried may things before this product, but nothing worked.
Since using this product her dry and flakey
skin is completely gone, and both dogs have beautiful shiney coats.

Best product of its kind

Pros: soft coat, skin less flaky, seems to help with inflammed joints
Cons: mild fishy smell
"My senior guy has had terribly dry skin and coat problems from the time he was a pup when diagnosed with hypothyroidism. This doesn't cure that, of course, but while I tried many other products like this in different formulations, this is by far the best...and the only one he will actually willingly digest. A side benefit seems to also be that it has helped him a bit with his arthritis. I know medical claims cannot be claimed with this product, but this has been my experience...and I am truly(!) thankful Costco offers it at such a great price. I so highly recommend it that I give it 6 stars...oh wait, there are only 5 possible! :) OK, so there is one mild downside...which is a faint, fishy smell, but if you know anything about any of these products, they all do...and this is not at all an issue for us."

Amazingly Soft Skin

Pros: easy to use
"My vet recommended I add fish oil to my dogs diet to help with his allergies & arthritis.
I was doing this via puncturing fish oil capsules & drizzling the oil onto his food. This product has made my life so much easier. But the best
thing about this product is the improvement in my pets skin. His paw pads are no longer dry & cracked, they are now soft & supple with no cracks, and his topical secondary dermatitis has improved greatly. His skin & coat have improved also.

Shiny and Healthy

"My black lab has been using Dermaquin for over a year now and it has kept her coat shiny and, I believe, her in better overall health. She has never had any problems with using it in conjunction with her high quality premium food. Costco has the best price of all of the many sources I have checked and shipping has been very prompt. I highly recommend this as opposed to many other supplements on the market. Give it a try and give it as directed on the package - you'll be glad you did."

Great for a dog w/ skin problems

Pros: no odor; easy to use
Cons: kind of pricey.
"My Boxer has nearly constant problems with her skin. I've used a few supplements, but this seems to really keep her healthy. Plus it's easy to squirt on her food and has no "fishy" odor. I am now on my 3rd bottle and I think it's worth the price."
