A-MAZ-ING!!!

Pros: anti-reflective coating on screen, super clear picture and crisp colors
Cons: none!
"This TV is amazing. We originally purchased a very expensive Sharp Aquous Quattron 52" TV and had problems with it from day one. We took it back and went to Costco instead. I have never been happier. The picture is so clear, colors are vivid and the surround sound is great. It is super thin and easily rotates from side to side on the swivel stand. The best part is the anti-reflective coating. I totally disagree with a previous reviewer who complained about the reflection. This TV has nearly ZERO reflection with the anti-reflective coating, and that is a big deal to me. We have a series of windows which are directly opposite the TV and I barely notice the reflection during the day. BIG improvement over the Sharp we had. BUY THIS TV- you will be so impressed, and with an extended 2 year Costco warranty and 90 day returns, it is a safe buy."

Beautiful but limited!

Pros: beautiful with easy setup, nice overall picture
Cons: need extra parts to complete wireless, slow to focus on any fast moving scenes
"I like the Samsung product line and wanted to upgrade our current Visio 55 inch TV. I was interested in the wireless aspects of this tv and was disappointed that I needed to spend 80 dollars more for a dongle.....
I could live with this because when I turned on the tv the picture is incredible. Only one problem, at 120 hz it fuzzs up quite a bit in any action movement "any". So even with the huge discount this set is still hundreds more than a 240 hz Visio with built in wireless. I will use this for a few days yet I believe I will go back to Visio, the trade offs are not worth the extra bucks.

Awesome Picture

Pros: everything about this tv is a pro.
Cons: instructions are not user friendly.
Model Number: Series 6400
"This is my first big screen led/lcd tv and have nothing but good things to say. I highly recommend that a HDMI cable is used for the best picture quality, have only had the tv for 4 days but so far I'm inpressed. It was easy to set up even with not using the instructions. Have not had a chance to get into the other options of the tv as yet but am looking forward to learning about them."

Amazing

Pros: outstanding picture!
Cons: none so far... fingers are crossed.
Model Number: UN55C6400
"I've only had this TV for 1 week, I upgraded from a Sony 53in rear projection TV that died on us after 11 years. I looked at this TV and the 55in Sony, I was leaning towards getting the Sony but wife looked at both TV's and was sold on the Samsung. Like others, after bringing it home and setting it up, turned it on and WOW, this TV is amazing to say the least. You MUST use the HDMI cable to get the ture effects of this TV. We watched Avatar after setting it up and it was like 3D. I am very happy so far, I hope it will last me as long as my Sony did. We also have 2 other Samsung TV's in the home, a 32in HDTV and a 46in led-lcd."

Good Picture, but...

Pros: good picture
Cons: menus are poorly designed, apps don't work, updates don't work, more and more... read review
"Firstly, this tv looks great. That said, the menu's are ridiculous at best. The chinky wifi dongle is garbage. The auto-firmware update isn't automatic, you have to initiate it, but then it doesn't work, so you have to download, unzip, put files on a usb drive, and install updates manually, which doesn't work either. Resulting in a tv that doesn't support any of the video streaming apps because the firmware is out of date. I am a tech-savvy guy, and bottom line is the tv is a poor substitution to the vizio and sony's out there. I think the manuals and menu's were translated from korean to not-english with some online translation program. A thorough disappointment."

Amazing Picture!

"I have a two year old $3500 Sony LCD tv that this tv puts to shame! The picture is just unbelievable... so clear and perfect and I love the web apps. Being able to get things like Netflix on the TV without hooking up lots of boxes is amazing!"

Backlight Issues & Poor Viewing Angle

Model Number: Samsung UN55C6400
"The slim form factor is great and the picture is pretty good. It is also easy to use. However, when the picture has dark scenes or the side bars are active (non HD), you can see that there are some serious backlight issues with this LED LCD. It looks like there are clouds on the screen and the corners look like there are flashlights shining out of them. Especially bad in darker room or at night. You will not see this in the store. I tried every adjustment possible and the only thing that helped was turning the backlight way down, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a LED backlit LCD. I returned it and tried another one and same thing. The side viewing angle is terrible on this TV. When you move more than 10 or 15 degrees to the side the picture washes out. Not acceptable for viewing within the same room and if you like to go from the family room to the kitchen and still see the picture, this LCD will not work for you at all. Returned it and purchased Sony LED LCD and could not be happier. I guess Sony has figured out how to overcome these issues. Love the Sony. I would recommend Sony over the Samsung."

Not good with any action

Pros: pretty good pic, good styling
Cons: horrible time delay on any action - not just fast
Model Number: 6400
"I so wanted to like this TV. It got so much good feedback from so many sources...I just don't get it. I was warned of the very few moments when action would show a slight delay/hesitation - like during sports or fast action movie moments. Well, the delay is so apparent in so many situations - normal, every day sit coms where people are going about normal everyday movements...not fast action in the least. It is so annoying. The pic is good. The screen is glossy, but the reflection isn't an issue like I was expecting - even in my room that has a large window on the wall next to it, but I can see how it might be an issue for others. I really want to give it one star for the annoying timing, but I will bump it to two stars for the pic and style."

Screen is too shiny

Pros: looks good in a dark room, looks good when turned off, makes a good mirror
Cons: shiny screen/reflections way too distracting
Model Number: UN55C6400
"I would give this TV 3-stars for picture quality, but have to take one away for value since it's way overpriced. I have no idea why the new Samsungs are getting such good reviews other than that people are paying so much for them, they have to write a good review so they'll feel better about their purchase. I had this TV, took it home, and the TV screen finish is so glossy, that unless you are watching in pitch darkness, you will see reflictions in the screen almost like you're watching a mirror. It's especially bad if you have a light behind you, since you will see the light shining in the TV screen, but even without a bright light, you will constantly be seeing reflections in the TV. I returned the Samsung and got a Vizio, which has a matte finish and doesn't show any reflections like the Samsung does. In addition, it was hundreds cheaper, and the picture is just as good in the dark, and much better in bright light."

Excellent picture

Pros: excellent picture quality and easy to set up.
Cons: lack of skype, no dlna, needed to get software via usb to get netflix work
Model Number: Model UN55C6400
"This TV is for media room and the room will accommodate almost any size TV. The 55" is a good size for all your movies. I previously had a Samsung LCD 52" but the LED does make a significant difference."

So real, you think...

Pros: gorgeous picture, great remote control, runs cool unlike plasma and conventional lcds, uses less juice
Cons: none observed
Model Number: UNB556400
"that you're watching live people inside the tv.
Honest, my family and I watched Avatar three nights ago and the picture had such depth and "aliveness" that we thought it was 3D. All I did was unpack it, plug in my hdmi from my sound projector and I was ready to rock and roll! And the usb took my flash drive in stride, projecting my Maui pictures with all the detail, in stunning fashion. In one word, the picture on this set is STUNNING! GET IT!

OUTSTANDING picture

Pros: 4 hdmi inputs., picture clarity, easy setup, very thin. like a bit over 1" thin.
Cons: power button on the tv is a bit hard to see., not many audio controls on the tv.
Model Number: UN55C6400RP
"We've had this TV for about a month. It's our second HD TV. The clarity and picture on this TV are amazing. We are seeing details we've never seen before on our favorite Pixar movies. It's bright. I did not have to do much tuning at all to get it exactly where I wanted it. We also just bought an HD Camera. When we plugged it into one of the 4 HDMI inputs, the TV sensed it in about 2 seconds. We can even control the camera from the remote without having to program anything. Great TV, great value. I would buy another one without hesitation."

Samsung UN55C6400 Excellent HDTV

Model Number: UN55C6400
"I have two other HDTV's a 26" Samsung LCD and a 46" DLP Samsung. This TV has the best picture I have seen. I have Verizon FIOS so the HD quality is excellent at the source and this TV has a very crisp, clear picture. It is like the TV is a window into what I am watching. I am very impressed."
