Started out ok, but now .......

Pros: good price looks good
Cons: aerator button is junk
"Has anyone been able to get a replacement head? How do I contact the manufacturer? No contact info on their web page, so any help is appreciated. Aerator button suddenly doesn't work anymore. This product looked nice & was fairly easy to install, but it's kinda wobbly and I can't switch between spray & stream. Purchased this in March, but if I can't get it fixed or replaced, I'm gonna have to return it"

Worth Every Penny and More

"We really like our new kitchen faucet. Looks much more expensive than what we paid for at Costco. What an awesome deal. Didn't give it 5 stars because some minor issue with water selection mode. It sometimes gets stuck or doesn't want to switch modes.
Overall, happy with the purchase and time will tell regarding quality.

Very good but...

Pros: good pressure, very nice looking, good price point
Cons: connector hoses too short, water switch on nozzle flimsy
Model Number: Fontaine Residential Spring
"I was pleasantly surprised at the performance of this faucet, it has great water pressure and spray, however the length of the water hose attachments is very short and had to buy an extension on both hoses and use a nipple to connect them together...the instructions don't tell you the size of the hose they are using either, had to take the faucet to the hardware store...also the switch on the nozzle is very flimsy and does not stay in place, I suspect I may have to ask for a replacement hose in the near future when the switch fails...otherwise am pleased with the purchase..."

"Faucet lost its plastic coating after 3 years and will not stay in place- needes constant tightening. Would not recommend, replacing mine with another brand."

DON'T DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!

"Looks good, installs fairly easily but from then on it was downhill. Bought less than10 months ago and it's toast. After 2 months the stream button started to malfunction. By the 4th month the button was not working at all. By the 8th month the hose was leaking and by the 9th month it was spewing water. Many here have had the same exact problems. Don't know why it's rated so high unless people are not bothering to review after the failure. I like the design but the quality is rock bottom. Save yourself the headache. Wish I could give it a zero"

Well worth the trouble

"I purchased this faucet nine months ago and thought, at first, that I had made a mistake. Because the faucet arrived missing an essential part of its assembly. Never mind.
Our plumber found a generic fitting that did the job and -- here's the important part -- I have never had a faucet I liked as well as this one, and that includes top-of-the-line, professional quality faucets that cost ten times more than this one does.
I'm about to order another one. As a spare. Just because I find this particular faucet not only great looking, but also highly functional once assembled and installed.
So. If you have to jury rig a component of the assembly, so be it.
This is a great faucet and, at the price, unbeatable.

Exceeded My Expectations

Pros: good quality, easy to setup, money well spent
Model Number: 516588
"I purchased this product thinking that it would be a decent faucet because the price is not that high. However, this faucet turned out way better than I had thought it would be. The quality looks and feels very luxurious, not to mention the sophisticated design. I've had this faucet now for quite a while, and I have not noticed any signs of wear or malfunctions. It works perfectly fine, and I would have to say that it is worth the price."

Spring Pull Down Kitchen Faucet

Pros: easy to install and beautiful style
"I purchase this beautiful kitchen faucet for my kitchen and love the function and quality of the faucet. The faucet is easy to install. I am very satisfied with the water flow and pressure as it is easy to wash my dirty dishes with it. The style makes my kitchen decor stand out more and I have gotten many compliments on how beautiful this faucet is."

Disappointed

Pros: easy install
Cons: poor functionality
"At first the faucet looked nice and felt sturdy, but three months later it has turned out to be a poor product. The flow of water is difficult to control and the button on the head is starting to fail. The arc of the faucet when placed in the holder is too close to the back of the sink as well. It does keep the faucet out the way, but it is cumbersome to take the spray head out each time I want to rinse dishes without spraying all over the place. It also looks like the faucet is leaning slightly even though all the fittings are secured tightly."

Garbage

Pros: cheap
Cons: cheap
"Where to begin? This product is not stainless but more of a brushed nickel. It does not match real stainless of pretty much everything else in the kitchen. It does not look like the faucet in the product demo video (which appears to be real stainless). Another reviewer indicated that the finish wore off - I have no doubt that this is plastic beneath (note that it says "stainless steel *finish*").
The next issue is the poor fit of the main pipe that fits into the base - it wobbles substantially which is a huge problem because you have to stress this joint when pulling out the aerator. I don't think that it will last a year. Even the simple flow of water causes it to rock backward.
As another reviewer mentioned, this faucet does not have traditional faucet fittings but, rather, built-in hoses that are not long enough. Because this is so unconventional, it took the folks at the hardware store 45 minutes to figure out how to adapt extensions (they had to disassemble another product and give me parts from that). After all was said and done, I turned on the faucet for the first time only to find that the aerator had not be tightened at the factory. This caused water to spray on my ceiling.
What a colossal waste of my time."

Great looking Faucet

Pros: simple to install
"My Wife bought this faucet a few days ago with the idea that I could install it. Well to my surprise it was very easy and simple to do. This faucet is fantastic looking and changed the whole look of our kitchen. I ended up buying a second one for our BBQ sink. If your looking for a great quality faucet at a great price this is the one for you, I've seen similar looking faucets for nearly $400. Turns out Fontaine does some lovely bathroom faucets so that's my next prject.
Once again Costco picks a winner

Just Installed - Love It!

Pros: beautiful, functional, great price!
"Installed this faucet a few weeks ago and it works great. It's very functional but good looking enough that some of our guests at our recent dinner party noticed it and complimented us on how modern it looks. Finally a product/design my wife and I agree on. Now she's added the bathrooms to my "to do" list."

Great Product, Great Purchase

Pros: easy installation, great looks, great price!
Model Number: LNF-RSPK-SS
"I've had this product for about 8 months, and after referring it to a few friends I came back to read the negative reviews they were concerned about. Let me just say I have had ZERO problems with this faucet, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. It functions smoothly and is so easy to install I am confident my 7 year old brother could do it."

Disappointing purchase

"Great looking product but after a year the finish starting wearing off. We contacted Fontaine and they wanted an explanation in writing so we sent it and then they wanted a picture so we sent it and after 10 days we called and they had no record of talking to us. So we are taking the product back to Costco who I hope will send it to Fontaine."

Stay away!

Pros: looks nice
Cons: cheap poorly made
"*READ ALL NEG REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING!* I will give this faucet one star for looks only. That is the only good thing it has going for it. After having this faucet installed for close to a year we are removing it and returning it. We should have heeded the negative reviews. The button that changes the water flow to spray broke after a couple of months of use. We continued to use the faucet without the option to spray and now there is water leaking out of the space where the button is. This makes it nearly impossible to hold the faucet with hot water on as it burns the hands. It also is spraying water sideways from the leaky button and it gets my shirt and counters all wet.
Cheap, poorly made product. I would not recommend this faucet.

Great Price, Good Looks, Poor Design and Quality

"We bought this faucet two years ago and after the first year had to have the head replaced as the aerator button broke and was stuck in aerator mode. It was a hassle to try and get through to Fontaine and once I did I learned they required an original purchase order number to replace the unit which I had to contact Costco to get. Then after getting the PO number getting back through to Fontaine proved difficult, after multiple tries I finally did and they sent a new head at no cost. Unfortunately the new one is breaking too. I think we are at the point of removing the whole faucet and returning it to Costco."

breaking after two years

"very pretty. nice functionality.
but the external button for the aerator has broken.
now we have to fall back on the warranty. but they require a dated invoice - who keeps them after two years?"
