Perfect Every Day Hoop
Pros: very affordable everyday wear
"I've had these earrings for over a year now. One of the best purchases one can make. The one inch size makes them perfect for jeans and a t-shirt, business attire or even with a little black dress. I wear them as my "every day" earring. Very sparkly, the photo really doesn't do them justice. You will NOT be disappointed!"

Understated Sophistication
Pros: excellent value, costco appraisal $2000, superior quality
Cons: sore ears at first...
"I have been looking for a pair of diamond hoops for several years. I had hoped to find a "oval" pair but after looking and seeing the price/value at many jewelry stores I realized that Costco always offers a much superior quality product over most at a much lower cost. I always feel comfortable buying from Costco because of the quality and value they offer! These diamond hoops did not disappoint. As other reviewers have noted the thicker earring posts did cause my ears to be very sore for several weeks. I continued to put them in each morning and after about 2.5 weeks I no longer feel any discomfort. The thicker post I believe is a safety precaution - the earrings should not come out without you realizing it. I put a bit of antibiotic ointment on the post before I put the earrings on - this seems to help with the tugging etc ...but now they are so comfortable and a perfect size/weight. I would have loved the next size hoop but the price jump was something I just could not justify...these hoops are a great value and the appraisal that was provided by Costco said that their value is $2,000...I plan to wear them everyday with jeans and everyday clothes as well as when I have a special dress-up occasion."

Pretty Sparklers!
Pros: lots of sparkle, very well made
"After a very long search for a nice pair of diamond hoops that could be worn on an everyday basis, spotted these on the website and came back many times looking at them, trying to imagine the size, sparkle, etc. and they seemed exactly what I wanted. When they came, I was delighted when I opened the box. Put them on and realized that they are a little narrower than I imagined, which would be fine for me if they were just a tad smaller in diameter. I did return them and ordered another pair on the website for quite a bit more money (I must have gotten the last pair as they're gone for now), but if you're on the fence about these, don't hesitate. I also wouldn't hesitate about purchasing any jewelry (particularly diamonds) from Costco, whether in a store or .com. They deliver consistantly great quality at a more than fair price."

Casual daily wear

"These are well made and comfortable. I can talk on a phone or sleep in them with no discomfort. They are very sparkly and do show well, but not flashy. The prong settings are smooth and do not catch my hair. The quality of the diamonds is great for the price. The solid post is very comfortable for me, no issue. I did not want more ctw because I am not a big person and do not like overly big fashions and accessories. Costco delivered a day ahead of plan. Thanks Costco!"

Sadly, had to return

"I had admired these earrings for a long time and was thrilled to receive them for Valentine's Day. They are simply lovely. Imagine my dismay when I found them difficult to insert (even with lubrication). Although my earlobes are not particularly thick, the earrings felt very tight. Within a few hours my earlobes were swollen and sore. I wear 14 kt white gold earrings often, so I doubt the swelling was caused by anything other than the tightness of fit in both dimensions of the post. When I looked at other huggies-style earrings at the Costco store, I found similar dimensions. I think I just can't wear huggies. The woman behind me in the Costco return line had a similar problem with another style of Costco huggie. If you have larger piercings and very thin earlobes, these lovely, huggie-style earrings would work well for you."

"I had been wanting a pair of diamond hoop earrings for a while and thought I'd try these. They are very sweet, the diamonds really sparkle, and they are lightweight and comfortable. However, they were not the look I wanted. They were too small. I was looking for a bigger statement, so I took these back and bought the 2.95 carat hoops, which are just spectacular and exactly what I wanted. Costco sells great jewelry."

Happy as a clown
Pros: easy to insert; latch appears to be very secure.
"These earrings are so comfortable. I hardly know I have them on. I don't need any assistance to put them on, and I can readily hear the "click" when the prong is latched. i have thick ear lobes and at first I thought the prong would be too short, but it fit just fine. I wear them with casual clothes and feel really dressed up. The sparkle is unbelievable."

Love these earrings but...
Pros: sparkly, excellent value for the money, perfect size
Cons: shared prong setting can't handle rough wear
"I purchased these earrings about a year and a half ago and wear them daily. They are a perfect size, not too small, not too big, and the diamonds are nice and sparkly. But because I wear them daily and use a phone a lot at work, I noticed when I came home yesterday that one of the diamonds towards the bottom popped out. I'm disappointed but I don't feel too bad because the price was so good and my jeweler said it would be no problem to replace the diamond and repair it. I'd recommend these to anyone, but just go easy if your job requires lots of phone usage. I'm getting a wireless headset to use from now on!"

"I love these earrings. They are light and very comfortable to wear. They have a lot of sparkle and can be worn with jeans or when I dress up. They have a very sturdy clasp that clicks closed and you don't feel like they will fall off."

"I read the reviews for these earrings prior to ordering, with the thought they can always be returned. I am NOT disappointed. For the price & the quality of the diamonds, I was pleasantly surprised. And, they were actually bigger than I visualized. The safety clasp/hinge also appears to be very secure.
The person that was disappointed need to spend more money, buy bigger diamonds that are flashier for them. I think they are simple, beautiful and yet, can be worn everyday."

Great value
Pros: unbeatable value, super quick shipping

"Wife bought comparable from Tiffany and paid $3,800 for less ctw; showed her these online and she was doubtful...that is until she opened the package and was floored.
Side by side there is a small difference in that the Tiffany earrings are more delicate but for 1/4 the price she got more ctw and very similar results. Needless to say she is so happy."
