Buy This Grill!
Pros: grill head and grill cart are mil-spec, handle is cool to the touch when grill is hot., grill grates are heavy gauge ss, grill head and cart are heavy gauge ss, too many to list!
Cons: there just aren't any...

"Background:
I’m what you would call a year round griller. I grill when there’s snow on the ground and I also cook with regular pans on my grill when needed. I’ve been looking for a new grill for a few years and I am VERY picky when it comes to my grill. Wife has been on me for years to buy a new grill and I’m always looking at grills and they’re almost always grills that aren’t worth having. Over the years, I’ve cooked on lots of grills and never really been happy with anything I’ve come across. I’m the guy who ends up cooking at the party because I love grilling so much. Read on for more info.

The Basics:
Grill arrived few days from Bull in TN in two boxes shrink-wrapped to a new wooden pallet and I had the delivery guy drop it in my garage for assembly. The grill head box said “UI” and other cart box said “Bull”. The grill took about an hour to assemble with the included instruction manual (Manual is actually for installing the grill head into an island but it’s the same grill head as the one seen here that attaches to the top of the grill cart. The grill comes with a pre-installed pressure regulator ready to accept a standard 3/8” O.D. flare fitting for attaching a natural gas quick disconnect hose. You also have the option to purchase the liquid propane model (See document link). All of the included assembly hardware is stainless steel. I’m very impressed with how substantial (heavy gauge) the SS used across the entire grill. There’s nothing cheap or flimsy to be seen anywhere. Think “SS Tank” and you will have an accurate picture of what I’m talking about. Solidly built and very well thought out. The casters on the grill cart have to be rated at 1000lbs, no joke they’re awesome. I’m fully expecting this grill to last a good 20 years or more. The grill I’m retiring is a BBQ’s Galore from 1984. LOL, like I said, I’m very picky and it takes me time to find something I like!

HOT, HOT, HOT!!! I cooked on the grill for the first time tonight and all I can say is WOW! I’m very particular about most things in my life (AKA-Not easy to please) and there isn’t anything at all I can find to complain about this grill. For example, I’m not a big fan of the warming rack add-ons seen across many grill lines because there never seems to be enough room between the cooking surface and the bottom of the warming rack. Right? This is not the case with this grill. There’s plenty of space between the grill surface and rack. Another really nice feature is the lid handle. The grill was over 500F before I put meat on to cook and the handle was cool to the touch. The wife was also very pleased about this so I’m also happy. The grill lights with a simple push / twist of the handle. I’m sure I put 10 years of wear on the igniters today while standing there with a grin on my face as I turned the handle to “test light” the grill repeatedly.

Add-Ons:
Costco also sells the searing burner and rotisserie add-ons and I’m going to order both online. The ceramic and SS searing burner replaces one of the four burners in the grill and heats to 1200F for searing steaks and chops. Honestly though, the grill gets hot enough to sear like it is but I may still opt for the searing burner.

no instruction but great grill

"Assembly challenging without instructions; need tools and strong helper. Hard to find Rotisserie kit and natural gas conversion kit on Costco website. Bull (Urban Islands) folks very helpful when available, but patience needed.
Method for securing grill head to cart not obvious and dangerous without doing so.

UNHAPPY GRILLER
Pros: none at this point
Cons: no instructions!, no regulator for propane pipe!, no help on a sat. fo such expenses grill!!, only made for costco customers so can't find, help on internet!!!!, for $1600.00 grill should have better service!!

"Rec'd grill Thurs. at 5 p.m., and now on Sat. we are trying to put together. No installation instructions - WHAT!! for such an expensive grill. The proper Regulator needed to hook up to the underground propane pipe connected to our 500 gallons propane tank was not included. In fact, I explained exactly what we needed to Bull's customer service prior to purchasing this grill b/c they said this grill is only sold & made for Costco' customers, so there was no other way for me check around for reviews to know what other's have experienced and thought about this grill. I now have expensive steaks cut at the Butcher's store and marinating for 28 hrs and we can't grill them!!! Company closed on Sat., of course, and we have to wait until Monday to try and correct part(s)and instructions. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will most likely have to call gas company to come out to hook up this thing. Should have stuck to a Weber gas grill. TOO EXPENSIVE A GRILL FOR SO MUCH TROUBLE AND ADDITIONAL MONEY TO PAY FOR GAS COMPANY SERVICE CALL TO COME OUT."

Works Great-but no instructions
Pros: cooking without flareups
Cons: no instructions, no side burner
"The grill does a great job in cooking with no flare ups. Delivery was prompt, however there were no instructions on how to assemble the cart nor how to install the grill onto the cart. Additonally, there is no side burner available for this model."

As Usual...Costco Quality Can't Be Beat

"I am a natural skeptic whenever my Bride purchases something like this product (some assembly required) via the Costco Web site, but this grill beats all I have ever seen! It is so simple and intuitive to assemble it doesn't even come with assembly instructions. Packaging - Outstanding. Construction Quality - Outstanding. Hardware Quality (all stainless) - Outstanding. Get the infrared burner option, it's a must have. If you have been looking for a high end stainless barbeque cart via the internet, do not hesitate to purchase this product. You will not be disappointed!"
