Hurricane Sandy fail
Pros: attractive case
Cons: doesn't work
"What good is an inverter that fails when you need it? This one ran for three hours one night into Hurricane Sandy, but the next night it was dead. Constant alarm, no digital readout, the works. No warning that it was about to fail, either. Fortunately I had a little 175W inverter for tailgating, or I'd be entirely without lights. The tech guy at Power Bright said I should send it in, but I said "hey, I bought it from Costco. This one's going back and I'm buying another brand."
Not that it matters much at this point, but the fuses are nearly impossible to remove. I had to use vise-grips."

Very Good Product
Pros: quality, capacity, design
Cons: interference (line noise)

"This was the second one I had bought,, this one way out performed the first. Able to run the entire office up to 14 hours off a marine battery. Only problem is the interference it causes on a headset. But found a work around."

first unit faulting display, output fine
Pros: use-full squarewave out-put, easy mounting

"I was very pleased with the unit cost.
I was happy with the square wave out-put.
The unit appears to be more efficient than an
existing Xantrex 1500, (small variance).
The display presents random characters, for me this was enough to return the unit and order another.
Costco return is the best, customer service is unsurpassed."
