Roadside Electronic Flash Flare 2-pack
The Flash Flare is a battery-powered electronic roadside flare featuring bright red LEDs with 360 degrees of visibility day or night. Designed for the safety of motorists, this flare is a resourceful and safer alternative to conventional flares. Free-standing and compact, the Flash Flare is available in sets of two and includes two removable bases that fold up and fit in the included carrying case for storage. This weather-resistant flare is designed with bright thermoplastic rings and features four lighting-sequences to further attract attention. Feel at ease on the road with the brightest protection available! Each Flare contains 33 LED's, 30 of which are positioned horizontal and 3 positioned vertically. The brightest flare on the market, each LED is approximately 1.021 lumens, making the total output for a single Flash Flare 33.7 lumens.
Perfect for traffic management, visual protection, emergency situations, accidents, directional markers and vehicle loading/unloading, or anywhere you need to be seen day or night.

Flash Flare
Pros: these will run a full 9 to 12 hours on 2 c batteri
Cons: flaps on the case do not like to stay closed.
"I bought one set of these flares and they were great. I then have bought 3 more sets to give to family members. Everyone that I showed them to loved them so I think I will even be buying more sets. These are so much better than regular old fashioned flares."

"After a 9pm Interstate blow-out in central Alabama, we decided we had to find a safety solution that would minimize the risk of changing a tire. We found the solution here, and I ordered them the next day. Three days later we have them - one set for each car. They are obnoxiously bright with obnoxious patterns! Exactly what we need and everyone in the family is safer."

Best bike light ever
Pros: brightest light out there., good construction will last a long time., easy to handle.

"After years of wearing out bike lights on my commuter bike, I decided to try these out. Mounting them on the back basket using a 2" PVC pipe they simply slip in and out with no effort. Cars now stop for me as these are so bright and really alert drivers to my presents. With the winter weather it's very reassuring to have these lights on my bike.
Others have asked me where I got these and they too now have them mounted on their bikes. If you have someone that rides year round they need a set of these lights. Comparing the price, they are actually cheaper then buying those other lights made just for bikes. Best ever."

Great Item BUT....................................

"I ordered four of these items. They arrived fast and I installed batteries in all units. However, I left them out to make sure all was ok. The next morning I got up early and thought the house was on fire! I saw what appeared to be redness that would have originated from a fire. Somehow two of these units turned themselves on in the middle of the night. I turned them off and latter, the same event reoccurred several times. These unit could go off in your trunk and drain the batteries leaving the units useless when needed. I called the vendor and they shipped replacements. I highly recommend leaving these units with the housing slightly loose to lose the battery's contact thus avoiding any battery drain. When needed, just tighten the case and the batteries will make contact. These are far superior to my older chemical flares. Using a 7 year shelf life battery will give you years of service if you follow my solution to the battery drain."

"These are the best roadside flares I have ever owned. I bought 1-pair before Christmas a year ago and then bought 2-more sets this year. They are multi-functional, extremely bright so you are very visable, and they are great in your backpack when hiking. There is a flashing light on the top that can signal a search plane if necessary.
What a great product. I recommend them to everyone!"

Need more than two-but they are great
Pros: very bright. compact case for car trunk., battery storage outlasts burn-type flare storage., will use for our rv also.
Cons: magnet doesn't seem strong 4 wind.
"I've been using chemical flares that burn out in 10 to 30 minutes depending on size. Also they deteriorate in the heat of the car's trunk and have to be replaced every 2 years or so. With alkaline batteries they will last for 7 years!
Bought 2 sets of 2 for Christmas gift for each of our cars. One set of two is OK for a divided highway with traffic comming at you from only one direction. However for two way traffic, I would feel safer with two in front and two behind my car. So I just ordered two more sets. Each car will now have two sets."

"All these years I've been reading the reviews before buying but never wrote one myself but this product changed it.
I was skeptical but based on the review I bought 2 pairs and after checking the product at night myself I found VERY APPEALING. It is the brightest electronic flare I've seen and very nice form factor along with sturdy ground stand and case.

"I bought this LED flares for a long driving trip. I have been looking for emergency light on the net. This one is by far the best for function and brightness. It comes with a plastic carrying case. It is easy to store in your trunk. Because it is LED, it lasts longer than light bulbs. It also has different flashing patterns that alerts other drivers. Costco shipped very fast. Got it within a week."

Almost Perfect!
Pros: very bright and easy to use
Cons: black container hard to find in dark.

"Works great and easy to use. The flairs are well designed and the magnetic attachment is genius. My only complaint is that little thought went into the container which is a dark smoke color. Finding this in a dark trunk or on dark pavement in the night is not easy. They should have made it bright red, orange or yellow. Maybe add reflective tape or something."

Amazing product for outstanding price
"Not only are these flares easy to use, but they pack away so neatly in a small storage case. They are brighter than most lights I have ever seen and the patterns are just unbelievable. I hope I never need them on the side of the road, but it's so comforting to know they are in the trunk when I need them."

"Because most cars now have emergency flashers, we don't think we need this product. Well that is a false sense of security! I broke down in my car in the fast lane of a busy street. The alternator died, killing the battery with it. I had no power to run emergency flasher to warn people that I was stranded! I stood on the side of the road waving my arms, trying to warn them, so they wouldn't hit my car! I saw this product and jumped on it! I ordered one for every car we have. A must for everyone!!!"

"Nice idea in replacing regular flares. One flare arrived defective. Called Costco and they called manufacture to sent out replacement product which arrived in a couple of days. No problems so far. Units are bright at night and are nice and compact to keep in the car for roadside problems."
