Great Furniture...but
Cons: the aforementioned mesh panels, only 3 outlets on the power strip

"Love the quality of this piece. Shipped and delivered as promised. One caveat for folks who want to use the mesh in place of the glass panels or wood inserts in the doors. The mesh inserts have about 2" of additional framing around their border which significantly reduces the opening with which a remote control can get thru. Add this to the existing doors 2" of framing and there is very little space for a remote to actually work if you have multiple devices side-by-side or stacked vertically. We have to open the doors or move the remote and contort ourselves to get the devices behind the mesh to respond. Might end up going back to glass which is a shame and defeats the purpose of hiding the electronics behind the mesh."

Solid and Sturdy.....another Costco winner!

"Another terrific Costco furniture decision! Purchased this for a very large great room and a 60" TV. Fits the bill on all accounts. Reasonable delivery time and arrived assembled without a scratch. Easy set up with cords and the color represented online was accurate. Perfect match to the existing furniture. Seventh successful quality furniture purchase from Costco!"

"I am getting married soon, and we have bought some furniture for our new apartment. I received this piece a few days ago and I love the craftsmanship and the attention to detail in this piece of furniture. I will continue to buy from Costco for a very long time! too bad they don't have bridal registries."

Another Great Product
Pros: color style, long power strip cord, storage options, choice in door inserts

"I have bought most of my furniture from Costco. This is just another great addition to those purchases. I was very excited to recieve the console in only 13 days!!! Delivery went smooth and the company that arrived was top notch! Arrived without a flaw! The piece is absolutely gorgeous! Very heavy and sturdy. Color is beautiful and I love the fact that I can remove the glass for other options due to having small children in the house. It looks great with any of the panel options (I removed glass and placed wood inserts). Don't worry this process is simple! There are great storage options 2 adjustable shelves inside and 4 deep drawers outside. Built in power strip on inside bottom of unit has a great long cord but only 3 outlets. I recommend Costco to everyone for funiture needs and will continue to do so after another great experience. Thanks Costco for offering high quality furniture you can order without worry and enjoy for a long time!"

The center area has one adjustable shelf plus the bottom shelf. The center area is 34 inches wide and 18 inches deep. We have the cable box on the adjustable shelf and the Blu-ray player & the DVD/VHS player stacked on the bottom shelf. Plenty of room (above/below) for more units w/ spacers."
