Shower head is plastic and cracked !!!
Model Number: similar to this one, pictured
"I love this unit, but the big square showerhead cracked before it was 6 months old!?
It looks like chromed metal, but it is all plastic and it just cracked,so that water slushes out and splashes, instead of the nice tiny spray that i experienced when it was still new.
Worse, it's not a standard threaded pipe or connector, so you can't just grab up any old shower head to replace it! This thing uses female threads where your existing pipes used male threads.
Replacing the shower head is going to require a pipe nipple, which isn't available with chrome, so it will look ugly.
Too bad. I understand that using plastic and rubber make sense for a lot of reasons, but they didn't make the showhead very well, which is why I think this thing sells for so little.
Now, when I remove it, I have a couple of holes to patch up, but so it goes! It was fun for 6 months!!!"

"the picture shows a valve to turn the water on and off, but this is a shower head only. You need to buy a separate on/off valve."

Looks nice but can be a chore to install.
Pros: nice looking
Cons: no valve for on/off, installing can be tough
"While this looks modern and classy, it can be a pain in the kiester to install. We wanted it as high up as it would go, which meant cutting the water hose shorter so it would go into the wall at the exact point where the water pipe was. We had to do that or the shower body wouldn't slide down on the bracket. And it does feel like plastic for the most part, but it still looks nice. Also, there is NO VALVE to turn the thing off and on with. I had to go out and buy one, so don't get rid of your existing one if you already have one b/c you'll need it.
Did I mention the instructions were in French?"

Love My Shower

"Excellent Value. Even though the unit is a durable ABS plastic I found the unit to be very functional. I love the finish, and the fact that I can use the Shower Head and Hand held at the same time if I want.
Hand held wand has a lot of pressure."
