AWESOME

Cons: took longer to cook that specified
"We did this for a comedy night at our Bar & Grill and the pig turned out fantastic. I don't think the picture does justice to how it actually comes out. We have big ovens and were able to put them whole and all I can same is AWESOME!"

smoke pig

Pros: easy to prepare, good meat
Cons: seasoning not throughout the meat
"This pig feed more people than I expected. The pig weighted over 50lbs. The flavor was good but the seasoning was not throughout the meat."

Would not recommend

Pros: looks like a roasted pig
Cons: salty, partly prossessed meat, dry, not tender, nothing like a pig roast
Model Number: 537971
"I'm not sure what pig roast the above reviewers had before this Porchetta from Costco that they gave this a 5 star.
First of all, it is nothing like a normal pig roast. I should have know that because it has been deboned. The head is the only section with the bone intact. The outside appearance looks like a typical pig roast.
The inside is similar to sausage meat. The meat looks and taste like processed meat. I have had Porchetta in Tuscany, Italy many times before and this one does not come near any of them.
The meat is very SALTY, NOT tender, again taste and look like processed meat (almost similar to meat loaf) The best part of this roast is the meat from the head which is attached to the bone because it tasted like real meat. I'm not implying that the it is not real meat, it's just that is looks and tasted processed.
Serves 80 - 100 people, they are right about this because it is so salty, tasted poorly, dry, of course you can serve that many people.
Not worth the money. Save your money and buy ham instead or find a reputable pig roaster locally.
I would NOT Reccommend to anyone."

"Flavor and color were excellent. Best of any whole pig we've had including those I prepared. i suggest bringing the pig to room temp before reheating. I started right out of the refrigerator and it took significantly longer
than the reheating instructions. I'll be ordering again. Oh, and my pig was bigger than 36 lbs by quite a bit so don't worry about running short. Top value.

wonderful taste and presentation

Pros: simply the best!
"This was the best roast pig we have ever had, including ones we have done ourselves in years past! Everyone raved over the incredible taste, and the cracklin' skin was also a big favorite. No bones, no waste, no leftovers! We will surely be ordering from this company again for future parties."
