PB style w/ Costco price
Pros: mostly assembled in box, looks great

"I purchased this and the Hailey dresser at the warehouse. I love that these are NOT flat-pack, even though they have a great price. For the nightstand, specifically, you just screw on the feet at the bottom of the legs & you are set. Judging by the dresser's box, I think it's probably similar.
The nightstand is made of poplar, it's a combination of solid wood and MDF, but does look and feel of decent quality. The white finish is a nice and true white, matches perfectly w/ a PBK bookcase we have.
If I could I would give this 4.5 stars. The only reason for the 0.5 star deduction is that in one place the finish is a little smudged (or irregular), it's only one small spot...not noticeable enough to return it IMO. Also to be 5 stars it would have to be made of better quality wood, preferably in the USA, again just my opinion. This is made in Thailand.
For the price, I personally don't think it can be beat. I don't understand the low reviews."

Item was damaged when delivered in origional box.
"We received the product and it had a chunk taken out of the top about an inch long. It was shipped via fedex and the box was not dented. This is a clear case of poor quality control by the manufacture. Buyer beware!"

"I bought this and other "Hailey" items for our two girls, ages 6 & 10. I wanted solid wood furniture with sturdy joining (dovetail) and good drawer guides. It is half solid wood, half MDF. The drawer box, the legs, the feet, and drawer knob are solid. The feet are removable and screw-on. The top, the sides and the shelf are all MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) It's made out of wood waste fibers glued together with resin, heat, and pressure. MDF is appropriate for many applications, from cabinetry to moulding, because it is smooth, uniform, and won't warp.
With that, be aware that the drawer guides are secured into the MDF sides and this is likely where any problems will occur, that being that the screws could loosen and/or pull out over time or with abuse. That's what I think. It may be more important if the same is true on the dressor or chest. We haven't received the dressor yet, but I wanted this review out there for others.
It looks nice with clean lines and a satin finish."

Great quality!
"I have never ordered furniture from Costco before (and I don't like to buy furniture sight unseen) but I took a chance and bought this nightstand for my daughter's room. I was pleasantly surprised ... it is very good quality, solid, sturdy and needed no assembly. Color is bright white (not antique white) so it matched perfectly with my daughter's furniture. Very happy!"
