"We ordered two of these ceiling fans - put them up - look great - very happy. Then half an hour later we proceed break the glass shade! Called the company to order replacement part and got a big surprise - NO CHARGE FOR THE PART OR THE SHIPPING! Super-impressed with Litex Fan Company (and we will be more careful this time!)"

so far so good
"I like the look of this fan and so far it is pretty quiet.I must say. it is the hardest fan I ever installed ,i have installed 5 different fans.This one was tough.1step requires a plastic sleeve to keep the ball from moving from its seat very hard to install . beside that no problem."

Good Fan, Bad Light
Pros: nice looking fan
Cons: the light dome that comes with makes the room dull
"Nice look, silent operation, equipped with 3 bulbs. The key issue is that the light dome it comes with completely dumb down the brightness of the bulbs. So, it is too dull to be used as lighting to the room and too bring to be used as night light. On the package the light dome looks white, but it comes with a complete dull finish inside that takes out the brightness of the room.
Would not have bought it had I known first. But now the fan is mounted and I need to pay again to get it removed and return. Just left it there.
If you are looking for just a fan and don't need the light, then this is a good buy. If you are looking for some light too, don't buy this."

Decent fan for the price
Pros: price
Cons: no light bulbs
"-Install was a bit confusing for me to follow
-No lights included.
-One of the fans was broken internally, had to spend time troubleshooting and taking the fan apart which was a hassle.
- If you pull the motor chain at an angle the fan rubs."

Fan motor died after year and a half
Cons: short motor life
"The product was easy to install, and looks nice but after a year and a half the motor died on the fan. I would have expected it to have lasted a fews years. Now after only a year and a half I will have to replace it."

"We purchased the fans for 11x11 rooms and they are the perfect size. We already have 2 other larger litex fans in other rooms and have been quite pleased with them. Be aware that you will have to sign for the package when it arrives."

Staying Cool
Pros: easy to install, quite
"I bought two of these fans to finish out the rest of my home, so that all rooms had a ceiling fan. They both work great and are super quite! Easy to install, took about one hour each. I had a little problem with one, but that was because the ceiling was as level as I thought, which was a builders error not the fan's problem. In this Texas heat they sure help having them on when I'm in the room. They go perfect with my decor and colors are perfect!"

Great Fan for the Money!
"My husband and I purchased four of these Litex 44" Ceiling Fans.
I am pleased with the quality and its attractive features.
The blades are a little smaller than the fans we replaced. I was not sure if they would provide enough air movement for the size of our room, but they did just fine!
These fans are especially great for smaller rooms. Some have metioned they do not provide enough light, but the light is sufficient for smaller rooms."

Great little fan!
Pros: ceiling hugger smaller size.
Cons: 1 more light in the fixture would have helped.
"Perfect for the room it is in! We have low ceilings and small rooms, so it is perfect for us. The smaller lights are a little dim, but I have plenty of lamps in the room. Works fine, moves the air. Since it uses the candelabra lights, I used the new ones I found at Costco that are LED, hoping they will last longer. Also, the blades are reversible, with dark wood on one side, light on the other, depending on your preference. Can't beat it for the price!"

Good fan for the money

Cons: cheap parts
"Many of the comments revolved around the light, this is not my complaint. We put the fan in a 12x12 room and it is perfect for that size room. My complaint is the the clip which holds the fan in place is made of plastic and does not do a great job of holding the fan in place. As a result you can not pull the fan speed chain when the fan is on or it will rub and make a clunking noise. Other than that the fan looks great and was a good deal."

Does the job
Pros: inexpensive
"Not the greatest, but its inexpensive and does the job. We put them in a small bedroom and they work fine, provide amble lighting for that situation. Would not recommend for a large room, or kitchen where it would be the primary light source. Easy to hang, but make sure the wires are out of the way."

Nice Fan
"As the other reviewer stated, the light is pretty dim (takes 3, 40-watt bulbs...would have been nice if it could take 60w or higher). If it was brigther, I would have rated 5 stars. Cons: The pullchain to operate the fan is not as easy to pull like the light's pullchain. Two of the blades came scratched up, which was disappointing. Not useful for main source of light for room. Pros: Install was pretty easy for my husband. You can't beat the price for the look of the fan. Runs quietly and doesn't wobble. It looks really nice in my small kitchen. Overall, happy with purchase."
