Wine Enthusiast Silent 48 Bottle Double Door Wine Refrigerator with two doors makes it easy to store both red and white wines. One side for your reds and one for your whites, it all adds up to total convenience! Not to mention style, a black cabinet with stainless steel doors, and tempered glass. Features:    48 bottle capacity   Silent thermoelectric cooling   Dual temperature zones with digital display   Doors lock individually for protection   Eco-friendly; releases no gaseous refrigerants; energy efficient   14 stainless steel-trimmed pull-out shelves   Interior lights   Free standing only   Dimensions: 33.25"H w/hinge x 27.5" W x 22.5"D w/handle   Applications: This model is not meant to be built-in to cabinetry, recessed or put underneath a counter. Not great, but not bad

"I received this wine fridge last week after waiting about 2-3 weeks for it to get here. The good: it's stylish, I LOVE the separate sides for whites and reds, and the size.
The bad: it came with half of the little L-shaped plastic pieces BROKEN that keep the racks from coming all the way out. Seriously, half were broken and rolling around the bottom of the fridge. Also, this fridge is surprisingly loud as other have stated.
Overall I'm shocked at how much many of these wine refrigerators cost. I bought this one after doing lots of comparison shopping and decided it was a good value. So far the temperature settings seem quite good. Note that this unit does have lights, but they are manual. you have to have them turned on inside next to the temperature controls. They don't come on when you open the door, an the owners manual warns you that keeping them on will affect the temperature regulation.
These things are pricey and should be built better, but the pricing on this unit is good compared to others. I bought it from Costco because it had the best price AND their return policy. My last one died too quickly and I am definitely keeping the receipt on this in case there are issues."

48 bottles do not fit

Pros: the dual temp controller worked well
Cons: can't fit most bottles in the racks
Model Number: Wine Enthusiast 48-bottle Double-door Wine Cooler Stainless
"I purchased this wine cooler because of my growing collection of wine that was stored in a box. I didn't want to lose the wine so I purchased this wine cooler. The problem is I cannot fit my 48 bottles in this cooler. The racks are too close together so it should be considered a 24 bottle cooler, not 48.
Very disappointed."

Within a week, product not working

Pros: costco custmer service
Cons: spend alot of money for a faulty design.
"Gave this gift to my in-laws for a joint 60th birthday present. They love their wine, so it seemed like a perfect choice. Within a week or so, both sides are not regulating at desired temperature. Thank goodness Costco has amazing customer service, as they are shipping a new one to my in-laws. Very disappointed, and embarrassed."

Cons: long riesling bottles don't fit, constant hum is louder than expected
"Received it last week. Seems to be working well. The description did warn about large diameter bottles like pinot noir not fitting, but didn't warn about long bottles like riesling not fitting. Given the other reviews I read, I was expecting it to be quieter than it is. The thermocouple system is quieter than a traditional refrigerator, but there is a constant hum that is noticeable."

Great for storing wines,Very quiet

Pros: very quiet, holds temperature
Cons: cheap locks
"4 1/2 stars. Bought this 6 months ago, working great, a little tight on space, so be careful putting the wines in, large bottles can go on the bottle shelf."

Better than what we had before

Pros: quiet, side-by-side doors look nicer
Cons: closely spaced shelves
"A few years ago we upgraded from the old tube TV to a plasma flat-screen and didn't know what to do with the big gaping hole from the built-in in our den. We ended up buying a Magic Chef dual-zone fridge at HD - it fit perfect! Last June an 'E4' error message appeared and we decided to replace it with this. We didn't realize how loud the old one had been until we bought this one! It makes a minor amount of noise when it kicks on but it's super quiet (quieter than the kitchen fridge or even the XBOX). It seems to kick on mush less frequently than the one we had before too.
I can't give it 5 stars because larger bottles (like those used for Pinot Noir or sparkling wine) don't fit between the shelves - they're a little too closely spaced. The shelves are removable though, so I've ended up taking a middle shelf out and stacking those bottles. Not really a big deal as this fridge has plenty of space to play with. We could never be collectors... we drink the wine we buy and are constantly replenishing our stock!"
