I am not sure if I return it or not...

Pros: looks good & saving water bill
Cons: no hook up to ice maker
"If I knew this product couldn't be hooked up to the ice maker, I wouldn't purchase.
Now I paid for professional installation and threw away old reverse osmosis water filtering system, I don't know what to do.

Great product, difficult install

Pros: delicious water, pros outweigh cons, takes up very little space, reasonable operating cost, relatively long filter life
Cons: difficult installation, dispenser base diameter too small, missing parts
Model Number: ZPS128
"I was looking at this for a few months and decided to go ahead and purchase it.
While Costco does offer a very nice RO system, that tank would have consumed too much under sink realestate.
The installation was quite difficult as I reused a hole that was for a sprayer. The rubber O ring in the base of the dispensing faucet barely covered the hole.
Also, an important part was missing, a big rubber gasket that was shown in the instructions. Without this gasket, it is impossible to tighten the fastening nut without the entire lever swiveling about the sink. Also missing was one of the little clips that keeps the water line in the quick disconnect from falling out.
While the little clips that hold the line in place work when seated properly, the trick to getting these fittings NOT to leak is to use your fingernail or perhaps a knife to get the collar on the fitting pulled away from the fitting, that's what keeps the water lines from wanting to push itself out. Close attention should be paid to ensure that the pull out collar is uniformly pulled out and not cocked. I'm sure those who had flooding issues did not pay attention to this minor but very necessary step.
Asides from the difficult install, the product itself is 5 star in terms of water quality!
The water quality is superior to any pitcher filtering device. The fact that it has a UV lamp is why I purchased this to begin with since we do have algae in our water and I'm certain that the lamp kills this.
Now, the acid test. Pour one glass of water direct out of the sink and pour a glass filtered by this. The filtered water stayed clear for a week, the other turned yellow after a few days!
Lastly, the the taste of the filtered water is very tasty, almost no taste. Hard to describe, but very easy to swallow. Coffee made from this water tastes sooooo much better, hard to believe. More depth in the coffee taste. Baked and cooked food tastes much better.
Even gave our dogs an A-B test and they prefer the taste of the filtered water!
I'd give this a higher rating if all of the parts had been there.
It will be far cheaper in the long run and do a superior job to a pitcher system."

Easy to install + Water Tastes Great

"I spent some time reading other reviews and watching videos that people had posted on how easy this unit was to install. I am happy to report that it is as reported, easy to install. The unit is well thought out and the instructions are very clear. The one confusing thing may be that they include multiple cold water line adaptors, but only show one option in the instructions. Once you get the right size adapter installed, the rest of the installation is incredibly easy. The water tastes great, too"

not good

"installation wasn't that bad
but the plastic 3/8" supply ez angle stop adapter is causing the leak
and the biggest problem is, the uv light doesn't even turn on...
now i have to uninstall the whole thing and return it....

Still doesn't help!

"This does not take out fluoride or chlorine. Two of the most toxic things in our water. Seems much better to buy the reverse osmosis system Costco offers."

"This is our second Zuvo unit (the people who bought our house asked that we leave the original unit) and this one is even better! It's a breeze to install (under the sink & out of the way!), does NOT leak, produces fantastic tasting water & is great for the environment. We couldn't be more pleased! Questionable Purchase

Pros: looks good
Cons: continues to run after off
"As aesthetic as this is, we have been disappointed in the functionality. When turning on, and throughout the flow, the faucet 'spurts' as if there is air in the lines. And, as another reviewer stated, and I was told after calling Zuvo, the faucet doesn't shut off, but continues to run until the line has been 'purged'. A waste of water. But, the filtration makes the water taste good."

Excellent Product

"Very easy to install, our sink already had the cut-out for the faucet. My husband installed it in about 30 minutes. The kids love the water over the regular tap water. We purchased reusable leak proof bottles at Costco and have not missed hauling the cases of water to the house. Great on the environment. Great tasting water."

Happily Hydrated

Pros: easy to install and great taste
Cons: filters only lasts 6 months
Model Number: ZFS159
"First of all, it was extremely easy to install - I have it under my kitchen sink and secondly you can actually taste the difference in the water. So overall, I give this a two thumps up and will definitely recommend it to my friends and family."

UNIT LEAKS PART 2

Pros: it's pretty when it's on
Cons: read review
Model Number: ZFS 159
"I have been a handy man for over 35 years and so I know my way around plumbing. This water filter system should be removed from Costco’s inventor. Plain and simple, the unit leaks. After spending much time, effort and money in preparation to install this water filter. The main body leaks at the top and there’s nothing you can do about it. It needs electric to filter the water, which means you need a separate dedicated GFCI receptacle under the sink, because the garbage disposal receptacle is only live when you run the disposal. Since I have a water softener, I ran a separate hard water line to the unit so that the salt water wouldn’t hurt the water filter. The instructions are not up to date and incomplete. The faucet that comes with this water filter is different than the one in the instructions. There are two instruction manuals that don’t agree with one another. So after much prep the thing leaked and I had to remove it. When I read the reviews I should have paid attention to the one from zocalzone who simply said leak unit. I thought he just didn’t know how to install plumbing, but he’s right. There is nothing you can do to stop the unit from leaking. I thank God Costco’s return policy is awesome. Please don’t waste your time buying and installing this unit."

Great product

Pros: great taste easy to install
Cons: none
"Quick, easy to install. Just a minor plumbing issue where the cold water input to the filter with the t-connector. It is supposed to work with the teflon tape wrapped around the input. But when it is put, it does not tighten tightly and so removed the teflon tape and then all is well."

Absolutely Love It! Tastes Great!!

Pros: tastes amazing, uv light with bubbles is cool looking
Cons: needs power
"There are some people out there that compare the taste from a Zuvo to a Reverse Osmosis. The two should not be compared. RO filters remove absolutely everything from water including all minerals. RO's also waste a lot of water. This Zuvo makes water taste perfect. People pay more for natural spring water or mineral water, so don't remove what makes water good. Remove the bad stuff that is needed to deliver it to your house.
Notes: 1. The unit is a little noisy as it does generate bubbles in the water that can be heard coming through the system. This only happens while dispensing water.
2. You will need a continual power source under the sink - not the garbage disposal outlet as it is controlled by a switch on the wall. There is usually one behind the dishwasher if it is not directly under the sink.
This thing looks so super cool when it is working I have considered putting it closer to the front of the cabinet and installing a clear window to see it"

LEAKY UNITS

Cons: gimmicky
"I PURCHASED THIS AND COULDNT WAIT TO INSTALL IT. I WAS A PLUMBER FOR 12 YEARS SO THIS WAS A PC OF CAKE. THE UNIT LEAKED BADLY FROM THE TOP OF THE UNIT. i CALLED AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS ISSUSE AND SENT A REPLACEMENT. I JUST INSTALLED IT AND THE EXACT SAME LEAK FROM THE TOP OF THE UNIT, NOT THE CONNECTIONS. PC OF JUNK IF YOU ASK ME!"

Great looking, but RO water tastes better

"I bought one to replace an aging reverse osmosis purchased from Costco years ago. The installation was easy, but the water did not taste nearly as good. I returned it and got the Watts Premier kit at Costco. It does waste some water, but is still more earth friendly than bottled water."

"I am returning this as it does not allow me to have filtered water to my refrigerator and on the counter faucet. I have to turn on the counter faucet to be able to have a cold filtered water from the refrigerator."

You will be happy to own one of these..

Pros: excellent price and quality
Model Number: ZPS128
"I bought my Zuvo water filter from Costco and had it installed a week ago. The installation was so easy; I could have done it myself. Zuvo certify that they filter out some sort of cysts, microorganisms and lead to name a few, but the one thing I’m positive about is the taste which is excellent. There is no apparent odor in the water either.
This is a quality well built product that takes up very little space under the sink with an approximate 5” diameter footprint compared to many other large filter units. It comes with a very nice quality ‘Moorea’ gooseneck faucet in brushed nickel that looks very good on our new countertops.
Overall, I’d give it thumbs up for water quality, compactness, ease of installation and excellent quality at a very affordable price.

Best Water Filtration Solution Hands Down

"Healthy water - unlike Reverse Osmosis
Clean water - much cleaner than Brita Filters
Tastes great - water with minerals but no chlorine or lead.
But less filling - uses much less filters than other units reducing landfill
Super easy to install - did it myself
All my friends taste the difference when I do tastings at my house.
Zuvo Rocks. Cheapest longest lasting product out there with the cleanest water."
