Great printer for the money

"This printer set up time was short and sweet. I used a USB cable on my main terminal and set up the other units with the wireless. Print quality is excellent mono and color. Double side print option is great.
Now for some good words about Costco. Ordering on line from them is a no brainer. Fast, easy and I got delivery in 2 days. WOW."

Works ok
Pros: prints ok. nothing remarkable about the unit.
Cons: cheap thin plastic a bit noisey expensive toner

"My Konica-Minolta Magicolor bit the dust. I had it about 8 years and loved it. Couldn't find any shop that seemed interested in trying to repair it. So, I replaced it with the Brother HL-4570CDW. I can't find anything about this printer to get excited about other than a fairly decent on-sale price. It prints ok, so far. As someone else mentioned, it does seem to be built cheaply with thin plastic doors that WILL break if you aren't careful. But then, many manufacturers these days seem to be engaged in a race to the bottom as far as durability and quality goes."

"I had high hopes for this printer but was sorely disappointed. If you have ever bought something and just by touching it you could tell it wasn't made well, you'll know how I felt about this printer. The paper drawer has no stop, so if you are not careful you will pull the whole thing out. The plastic on the drawer was thin and didn't feel substantial at all. It just felt cheap. I checked before I ordered it to make sure we could use the drop down feed for heavier weight envelopes and was told yes. Sadly, it crumpled every envelope I printed, so much so that I could not use them at all. (And I'm not talking about just a little crease; on the contrary, the envelopes looked like I had done a really bad ironing job on them.) The only positive thing I have to say about it is that is printed fine on regular weight paper. Needless to say, I returned it."

"Price was right, print quality is great but i'mon my third set of toner cartridges and my total page count is only 1100 - which means 1100 pages has cost me approximately $650 in toner....not working for me."

Prints nice but doesn't print card stock
Pros: nice printing
Cons: doesn't print paper stock over 40 lb.

"This printer is good except it doesn't print anything heavier than 40 lb. paper. Which means that no card stock will go through. And if you the paper to print, it curls the paper so much that you can't print on the back side of the paper. Even after changing the option to curl the paper less, it doesn't help. I'll have to return the printer."

"I bought this to replace my HP laserjet that did not work w/Apple and Window 7 wirelessly. The printer arrrived quickly. I set this printer up wireless w/Window desktops, Laptops and Apple laptop. Printed a test page of every set up. All test pages looked good; black and color. One set back was the desktop w/ XP; could not set up wirelessly with the provided CD. So I had to carry the printer to the computer, and hooked it up using my USB cable. Then, be able to print wireless."

Excellent wireless printer

"I'm very impressed with this printer. We needed a wireless network color laser printer, and this one seems to fit the bill. I set up the wireless connection to our network using just the control panel, and it was no problem. Everything seems to work fine, and color print quality is very good. Good value for the money."

Very good printer so far for the price
Pros: wireless color laer duplex works on mac and pc
Cons: photos good not great but works for a small office

"Bought this printer a week ago and so far it's a great deal for the price. Set-up pretty easy though i did need to get my tech guy in for 1/2 hour. Got onto our wireless network easily after we got the first printer on.
A very good value given features I was looking for- works on Mac and PC, wireless network (printer is up to 2 floors away from computers), duplex printing, very decent color and laser. Tough to find good quality in this price range. Prints fast producing good results, though photos aren't super but for a small office-text, graphics and some photos within other documents a very good printer. Would definitely recommend."
