Really works!

"I'm an avid stand up paddleboarder and wondered if an inflatable would perform on a par with my regular boards. Leave it to Hobie to create a board you can backpack into any body of water, pump 'er up, and off you go. Stable, smooth and strong in the ocean. This is a winner and a great price."

Exceeded expectations.

Pros: no roof racks.
Cons: not as rigid as an epoxy board.
Model Number: ATR 10'8"
"Perfect board for my needs. Stable, rigid and forgiving. I can set it down and bump into objects without worry, No Dings! Very well made, paddles very well. I love the fact that I can deflate it and roll it up. It fits in the trunk of my car (I hate roof racks). I keep it inflated at home, so I can walk to the lake, and deflate it to take it to the ocean. I bought this board instead of two epoxy boards, (1 for the lake, and one to leave on the boat in the ocean). I am very pleased with my purchase."

Lots of fun, easy transport!

Pros: easy travel, no dings, fun ride
Cons: more flex than epoxy
"I did a TON of research before dropping $2000 on a pair of paddleboards for me and my husband. We fell in love with paddleboarding during our honeymoon in Maui, where we rented epoxy boards and paddled at Wailea beach. I was skeptical that the inflatable boards would ride as nicely as the epoxy, but I didn't really have a choice given we wanted to travel with the boards. I purchased two of these boards and we took them for their maiden voyage in Florida around the St. Pete area- we had a blast!
The boards inflate and deflate easily, but I have found that I have to pump mine up to 12 PSI, and my husband to 14 PSI to get the best performance. We are not small people, I am around 175 and my husband is around 225.
Overall I am happy with the purchase and plan to keep these boards for years to come! Definitely recommend to those who want to travel with their board!

Decent Board

Pros: price, size, construction
Cons: affected by the wind
Model Number: Hobei 10'8" SUP
"Pumping the board takes a bit of effort so you might want to think about an electric pump. The board itself is of very good construction but due to the fact that is an inflatable and lighter than a core board, the wind affects it more. Also, once it is inflated the board is fairly stiff; stiffer than I expected. It behaves in the water well and would be good for beginners, kids or family outings."
