GE Color Effects® 50 LED Lights String Set
Light Strings Do Not Connect End-to-End, Sync Multiple String Light Function with a Single Remote

Not Worth It!!!
"Agree with other reviewer; when they work they are awesome...when they dont it's a bug disappointment. They tend to work for a while and then just die. Seems to be no rhyme or reason when they work and when they dont. I called GE 3 times and they were of no help. For the price this is a substandard product. I bought 2 strings and will never purchase GE lights again."

Thank you for the feedback regarding the GE Color Effects Lights String Set. Syncing the light function on the GE Color Effects® 50 LED Lights String Set is outlined in the Instruction manual.
It does require that all sets are set to the same light function before you install them. This is accomplished by plugging in one set at a time into an outlet and selecting the light function of choice with one remote. Plug in each subsequent light set separately into the outlet and use the same remote to select the same light function. Once all light sets are set to the selected light function, the lights can be installed in your desired location. Once all lights are installed, the single remote used for set up, can be used to turn all lights on and change all light set functions simultaneously. Once again, thank you for your review.

They missed an important detail
Pros: bright, nice colors, energy efficient, animated
Cons: can't plug sets together, multiple sets will display out of synch
"Yes, they are colorful. Yes, they are animated. What did they forget? You can't plug one set into another - you are stuck with the 41' length. Also, even if you strung several sets on your house, their display patterns will all be out of synch. Especially if you strung two sets along the same eave on your house - half would blink one color, half another."

Too busy
Pros: vibrant colors
Cons: busy busy busy . .gets old especially if the ligh
"What a great idea! But, I don't always want to look like an Acme Radiator Repair sign, so I wish they had a pause button, and/or a slow mode. Note also that these do not morph, wouldn't that be a nice effect?"

Just bought 3rd set
"I bought 2 sets for our house last year and received many complements. They are a real traffic stopper. I just bought another set for our ‘get away’ place."

Beautiful Display, but.......
Pros: beautiful when it works
Cons: a pain in the neck when it doesn't
"This 50 light set with an incredible amount of display options was something we just had to have.
Our enthusiasm disappeared quickly when the display quit working. There is a phone number to call that no one answers, and a website that is non-existant. We exchanged it for another set, and the same thing happened.
We found it at another store after we returned it to Costco again. This store had this set and icicle sets of the same ilk. Guess what? It died again. Exchanged it for another and it lasted 1 week. I talked to the manager and he said his store display worked fine. We walked over to it, and it was dead! Gave me my money back."

Beautiful, bright, easy to install!
"Ive had many years experience with string lights on my home and these are by far the easiest to install, they stay put, they are SO COLORFUL and the variety of settings are sure to please everyone! A remote control is included and very convenient. Can turn lights on from anywhere inside, and for quite a distance outside. Very weather resistant too. Definitely recommend to others!"
