Quality Picture Good Sound
Pros: great picture better than some 1080p tv's, good sound, fast set up, works with my dish hd remote, looks sharp
Cons: samsung remote is very long and clumsy, only one hdmi port in rear of tv, movie standard & dynamic are only picture options, a sports viewing option would be nice

"I purchased this 32" Samsung when I returned my 28" Hannspree 1080p HDTV because of several problems. (see review). First thing I noticed after set up. Wow! What a beautiful picture right out of the box. This is a 720p HDTV and the picture is Superior to the 1080p TV I returned. (Yes I did use a good HDMI cable on both TV's) Regardless, I just had to tweak the picture a little. Aside from increasing the color a bit. There was no real need to do anything else. I have Dish HD and the picture fills the screen beautifully. Plus with this TV I can see the entire broadcast. Top, bottom and sides are all viewable. No problem reading the Text Scroll when watching the news or sports shows. Nothing cut short. Picture is Crystal Clear, bright and beautiful. Deep dark blacks, bright whites and dynamic colors . The sound is good to. I have it in the bedroom so no need for a boom box, although you can blast it pretty loud. The viewing angles are very good. Not sure what the specs are but they are way better than the 170 x 160 my previous TV had. Seems closer to the 178 x 178 of my 37" Vizio. Now I dont need to constantly turn the TV if I decide to move to another area of the room. The TV base needs assembling but it is very sturdy. A combination of plastic and metal. This is a basic TV with no whistles and bells. Just real good picture and sound. I purchased this Samsung at my local Costco. Got a good price on it. Thank you Costco for your generous return policy. I think I'll be very happy with this TV."
