Quality at a fair price
Pros: great price and quality
Cons: color and small cartridge
"The all-in-one machine is operating great. No problem setting it up or using it. If there were any changes I would make [and they are minor] I wish it were black as the white is not to professional looking and I wish it would have stated it came with the minimal cartridge, and you best buy the larger capacity."

A winner purchase
Pros: not an ink jet printer
Cons: it doesn't make coffee; darn it.

"I don't write reviews. This Brother Black and White printer has inspired one. What brings me to buy my first laser. The unending frustration with ink jet printers and their frequent ink jet failures. This printer is better in many ways. Quieter, low power sleep mode when not in use, quick turn on, quick printing. I FULLY recommend giving this printer a try. And the manual is easy to use, WoW!"

The Toner lasts and lasts and lasts...
Pros: fast easy inexpensive to use and reliable.
Cons: would rather have it in black.
"Someone reported that the toner light was blinking after 400 pages instead of 2,600 pages, but to get the latter number of pages, as it states on the product page, you have to purchase the "high-yield 2,600-page toner cartridge (TN-450)," which, as stated on the product page, "Requires an additional purchase."
A lower yield toner is included in the box for free, NOT the High Yield Toner.
Definitely read the product description, fully.
Brother is an incredible brand. I've had my Brother laser printer for a few years now without any problems, and would never go back to an inkjet printer, again.
It's quick, easy to use, reliable, and saves so much money. I highly recommend Brother laser printers."

Inexpensive network all-in-one

"Just got this printer set up on my network. I set it up using the ethernet connection off my router, have all 5 computers in my house set up to use it. Since the software has to be installed on each computer, it does take a little time but it went smoothly. The only problem I had was the software CD was defective, so I downloaded the software from Brother's website. By going to their website, I also found that a firmware update was available. I downloaded that too, but have not installed it yet. I needed an all-in-one but all I have done so far is simple printing so I will need some time before I can make any detailed comments. Some reviews say it is noisy, but it seems quiet compared to my HP inkjet. It also wakes up from sleep and prints MUCH quicker. I went with a monochrome laser printer because I rarely need to print in color and I'm tired of replacing expensive inkjet cartridges particularly when HP uses it's color inks instead of black to print black. If I even get a fraction of the expected number of pages out of the toner, it will be cheaper than the HP. I set the Fax mode to manual because I only fax out. I am looking forward to being able to scan to PDF"

Not worth purchase
"Product description says, the cartridge would last 2600 pages. However, it's blinking low toner sign only after 400 pages! I'm returning this to costco"

document jam every time
Cons: document feeder doesn't work

"This thing is terrible. Every time you use the document feeder, it reports a false document jam. Brother's customer service is outsourced to another country where their representatives don't know anything about the products. Luckily I purchased thios from Costco where I can return it without any hassels."

Brother design it well, cost less, long lasting
Pros: idle power is good, light weight, sharp

"I have positive experience with other Brother MFC printers, this one has been improved and I like it better.
Lift handle is better design.
Foot print a bit smaller.
Price 1/4 of what I paid for 10 years ago (maybe rightly so, nonetheless it has great values)
Quality is sharper, faster, lighter in weight.
I had returned a Cannon after almost a month after received, the black color and the weak plastic does not sit well.
I also have an HP color (ink), it is good, but not a laser. I like this printer better even it is apple to orange."

So far mostly good

"Seems fine so far. One peculiarity is that you can't choose to *not* auto-redial when the fax gets a busy signal. It automatically redials once after 5 minutes (even if you're on the telephone line with someone else). To prevent redial you have to either turn the machine off or go through the menu to choose "cancel redial", but that latter only cancels it that one time; not a "default"."

"I bought a Brother MFC 7420 about 7 years ago and it has been a very dependable machine. All I did was replace the ink. So I decided to replace it with this Brother MFC7360N. I have only had it for a week or so but it has worked great. It is a basic Multi-Function printer, nothing fancy, but dependable. I like the deep sleep mode this new one has. It is quick to wake up, very fast and efficient."

He's not heavy...

I have owned laser printers before but never a Brother product. This baby gets the job done. Hard to believe the price for a unit that does so much including being networkable. Toner replacement cost is actually reasonable. Way to go Brother! You got my attention."
