The perfect recreational all purpose camping tent for family car camping or group camping. Completely freestanding design with 4-pole construction and additional guyline support for windy conditions. The Highland 8 features one of the roomiest designs on the market with a ceiling that is constructed to an expanded 6-1/2 foot elevation; and not just at the middle of the tent but over 60% of the floor footprint. A unique fully sewn-in fly provides rain protection over all openings and windows. When not needed, the fly retracts allowing maximum air-flow ventilation and low condensation buildup. Flow-thru venting is achieved with 4 large mesh ceiling panels as well as a half-door mesh panel and floor level venting panel which can also be used as a pet door. The double panel door also includes a large exterior floor to keep shoes and packs off the ground and eliminates dirt build-up inside. With fly in place an additional 8’ x 4’ vestibule is created. The tent comfortable accommodates 8 adults with space for accessories. Storage solutions included floor pocket panels as well as elevated wall corner pockets. An optional ceiling clips in or out and allows for storage of lighter items out of the way. An integrated electrical port is sewn into the front panel. Set-up is designed for ease with shock-corded poles that self assemble in seconds. Color-coded sleeves and poles make set-up easy the first time and every time. Once erected the tension of the tent and fly can be adjusted as needed to ensure a safe and weatherproof structure for your camping adventures.
