Swiftpoint Wireless Laptop Mouse

The Swiftpoint mouse gives you all the functions of a traditional mouse but operates next to your laptop's touchpad. It works anywhere your laptop works, so you never have to rely on a touchpad again.    Small, wireless and goes wherever you go The Swiftpoint mouse works anywhere your laptop works because you use it on the palmrest next to your laptop’s touchpad, or on a desk surface like a traditional mouse. The Swiftpoint mouse comes with a micro USB receiver that provides wireless operation and charges the mouse. It also docks your Swiftpoint mouse magnetically, securing it directly to the laptop so when you move you only carry one thing.Fully charged, the Swiftpoint mouse’s rechargeable battery lasts for as long as 2–4 weeks. But if the battery goes flat, a 30-second rapid charge gives you another hour of use.   40% more accurate than a touchpad Studies show the Swiftpoint mouse design is up to 40% more accurate than a touchpad. * It glides smoothly over the surface of your laptop’s palmrest so you can work quickly and efficiently in places you once thought impractical. The Swiftpoint mouse is so accurate it can be used for precision applications such as graphic design and gaming. Comfortable and intuitive pen-like grip - With a pen-like grip the Swiftpoint mouse does away with hand cramps commonly experienced with small mice. It points and clicks like a traditional mouse and its easy-to-use scroll wheel helps you navigate through documents quickly, or zoom in for a closer look. When it’s time to type, you can park the mouse between your hands. It will stay out of the way until you need it again thanks to the magnetic parking space. BEST little 'Mousling' I have EVER found!!

Pros: so superior to any touch pad, ergonomically the best on the market
Cons: absolutely zilch
Model Number: Swiftpoint 300 series
"It's so small and easy, I've named it a 'mousling', also because I am SOOOOO fond of it I felt it needed a name at the very least. Kind of like a 'pet'? That's how fond of this mouse I am. I've had Carpel Tunnel surgeries in both hands but still have major issues using anything else. EVERY other mouse (27 at last count), I have purchased makes my hands/fingers fall asleep in minutes. NOT so with this little gem. It's very ergonomically correct since it makes your hand re-create the position one uses to hold a very FAT pen or pencil. Granted, it does take a little getting used to since it is SO different, but now I can not use other mice AT ALL! If you have hand issues or NOT, I believe you will LOVE this little 'Mousling'...best computer accessory I have EVER purchased. Thank you Swiftpoint!!"

Terrific

Pros: last weeks on a charge. compact and easy to use.
Cons: none so far
"Love this mouse. It takes several days to get used to the size but its great when I am traveling. Compact and does not require batteries.
Note that to turn off the device simply take the usb out and store it with the mouse.

Awkward feeling

Pros: self charging
Cons: not comfortable feeling in hand
"The mouse seemed well mad and I like the self charging feature. The mouse itself just feels awkward because of how small it is and where your fingers have to rest.
I returned it.

Worth the Higher Price

Pros: magnetc dock/recharger no batteries to replace, compact size
Cons: none
Model Number: SM300 Swiftpoint mouse
"I've been using the Swiftpoint for over a yr & still love it. I'm tempted to get a 2nd one for my netbook so that I don't have to move the micro USB receiver from one computer to the other. I'm sure everyone is as enamored as I am with the fact that you don't have to replace any batteries. Are there any others out there that recharge on a magnetic USB receiver/dock?"

Love this mouse!

Pros: lets you position you hand in a natural position, holds its charge seemingly forever, well-made of grippy materials, takes up little space on desk.
Cons: it isn't bluetooth (a very small con), and i hope they'll come out with a lefty one.
Model Number: SM300
"I've switched over the years from right to left hand, from standard to ergonomic mice, to relieve the pain in my hands, but nothing has really worked ... until this little marvel. It's like holding a pen, so I don't suffer the stress from tensing my hand muscles over other mice."

Good mouse

"The mouse is very compact yet comfortable to use. All of my fingers are comfortable after hours of use.
My only dissatisfaction came from the sense that the mouse would work on the area next to the clickpad on a laptop better than a regular mouse. Although, it does have a great laser and I have had no problem with it tracking; the idea conveyed through advertisement suggested it would be able to work on shiny surfaces such as those described. This is accomplished by a huge sticker you have to put on your laptop. Which I chose not to do because I did not want a permanent adhesive residue on my new laptop.
I am still happy with the purchase and like the mouse however function will be mildly decreased if the adhesive pad is not placed directly on the laptop if your intent is to use it instead of the clickpad portably."

Best Mouse Ever

Pros: does what it says.
Cons: there are none !
Model Number: Swiftpoint
"The mouse is small as advertised. None smaller. Said to be for right handed users. I'm left handed. I could use it perfectly from the start. It charged quickly. Have not had to recharge for close to two weeks. It really fits on the laptop side areas. Have not installed the docking station so no comment, yet. Tracks well. Goodby touch pad."

love this product

Pros: small good battery easy to connect very simple.
"As a matter of fact. I just ordered another one for work. My wrist was suffering from all the mouses I was using. I have used so many and they seem to not work for me. This mouse is light and the battery last. I use it for my MAC desktop and also my PC desktop. Buy it and try it."

good technology, not so good on ergonomics

Pros: good technology
Cons: not so good on ergonomics, expensive
Model Number: Swiftpoint Wireless Laptop Mouse
"Good technology but not so good on ergonomic design. Used several days, my ring finger became painful due to unable to rest the ring and little fingers when holding this mouse."

Great for road warriors

"The Swiftpoint mouse makes a great traveling companion. I use to when on the road for hourts at a time without fatigue. The adapter is small enough to leave connected when storing the laptop in its case. It does take a little getting used to, but if you stick with it, it will become second nature and you will find the finger positioning that is most comfortable. At first it is easy to accidentally hit the scroll wheel while clicking, which changes the zoom."

Great Mobile Mouse

Cons: no "off" button
"While I wouldn't use this as an everyday mouse, it is great for travelling. It's small and easy to pack, but is quite comfortable to use - even in small spaces. And the battery lasts forever."

Great Wireless Mouse

Pros: comfort, size & weight, ease of use, battery life
Cons: could be less expensive
"I love it! This wireless mouse is small, simple and easy to use. I literally opened the box, read the few lines of instructions, plugged it into the port on my laptop and was off and running. I had no trouble acclimating my fingers to the different functions of this mouse as opposed to my full size one at work and on my desktop. Its comfortable, holds a charge for an incredibly long time and can be used on almost any surface. I can literally lay back on the couch with the laptop on the coffee table and use the mouse on my leg or the cushions if I want too. While I wish the price wase lower, you get what you pay for; especially when its a newer technology. I definitely recommend this product for anyone using any type of computer system and even more so for those of you with small hands and fingers like mine."

Really great product

"This is one amazing mouse--so easy to use and changed my life in terms of ease of using the laptop--I never enjoyed the little pad installed with in the laptop as you could not always guarantee it would follow your desired command. The swiftpoint is so easy to use and charge and holds the charge well too. It's a great product and I highly recommend it."

Too bad

Pros: portability
Cons: didn't last long. laptop usb interfere with power
Model Number: 300 series
"I was really impressed with the portability and ease of use of this mouse. I really liked it until it quit working after 3 mos. I hope I can still return this at Costco or exchange it. I would like to give it another try. It's really convenient to carry it around. I will give it a 4 if I can get a new one that works."

Great for Smaller Hands & Repetitive Motion

Pros: small size, easily portable from one machine to another
Cons: wireless (i prefer hardwired connections), a little pricey
"I keep finding great mouses for my smaller hands and arm pain created by repetitive motion overuse only to have them discontinued because not many people buy them. Hopefully that won't happen to this mouse since it's advertised as laptop mouse.
I mainly use it with my desktop, but it's great that I can use it on the laptop, too. The smaller size means I'm not stretching my hand so much to grasp it and my wrist is at a more normal angle so my arm doesn't get fatigued... I'm moving my fingers instead of my whole hand to travel around the screen which is also better for my muscles.
The ONLY thing I don't like is that it's wireless. I like my cords. It does stop working when it needs recharging without notice, but I keep another mouse attached to the computer that I can use while it recharges, which luckily isn't too long."

Great Wireless Mouse

Pros: ergonomic design, precision
Cons: appearance of parking accessory
Model Number: Swiftpoint Wireless Mouse
"I purchased this wireless mouse to use with a new laptop. I agree with many reviewers that the mouse is very small and probably doesn't work well with a man's hand. I found the size took a little getting used to but after a day of use, it feels great. I really like the ergonomic design and the precision. However, you definitely need to read the User Guide to set the "Up" direction. I don't care for the appearance of the Parking Accessory on my dark computer, but love the functionality of having the mouse parked in a convenient place while I type. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!"
